The location was great. The hosts were very helpful and readily available. Tye room was basic, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended...I would come back!
It was such a delight to stay at Sarangroo, the place truly takes you back in time. It was clean, well-located, and hosted by genuinely friendly people.
Sarangroo was very quite and clean. This place is small and cozy. It was unique experience to sleep on heated floor. My family had a great time and would love to comeback. The owners were very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Such a charming stay super close to all of the attractions in Jeonju Hanok village without being in the heat of it. My partner & I only stayed for a night and mainly needed a place to stay, but the heated floors made the room super cozy & the bedding was plush and comfy despite sleeping on the floor. Owners were accommodating & let us stow away luggage in their management area while we explored the village throughout the day. Highly recommend!
Great hanok stay in Jeonju. You definitely need a taxi or a car from the train station but once youâre there, the village is easy to navigate on foot. Clean facilities and friendly staff.
This is our first time staying at hanok house. Property is so beautiful, owner is nice and breakfast is provided every day. Location is also good being very close to hanok village. Please note that futon is quite thin but we got used to it the 2nd night.
An authentic hanok stay experience. Even though the owner does not speak English, she was very hospitable and was prepared with English introduction, instructions and a map of the area.
The property is conveniently walking distance to the Hanok Villlage. Checking in was very easy. The host and his wife were exceptionally kind and very helpful. We checked out before breakfast was served so we were a little bummed about missing out on that, but overall, I would definitely stay here again.
It was a nice hanok stay with friendly couple manning the place. They helped us settle in well and make it a welcoming stay. The room is very clean and good enough for staying in. The toilet is pretty small, so have to learn to live with it.
The host and staffs were very nice and considerate. They supplied more than enough water bottles and towels. The place was clean and comfortable. If you want to try traditional Korean housing, Sarangroo is definitely a place to go.
Although our guest spoke limited English. He had worked out what was important to his guests and had information sheets to hand in English. We would stay here again. He was kind thoughtful and helpful. You could even leave your luggage.
Beautiful and charming traditional house. Lovely location in the old area. Breakfast included.
Room was quite small for three people, once the beds are set up there is almost no space left on the floor. The mattresses were very thin, itâs like sleeping just on a blanket.
Beautiful spot right in the Jeonju Hanok Village! As it is a traditional guest house, you sleep on futons on the heated floor, which were very comfortable! The host is very nice, she welcomed us in and provided us English instructions (as she does not speak English) but it was easy to check in and get our room. Tea and water can be found in the common lounge area, along with maps and guides of the area. 2 minutes walking from the Main Street of the village which has plenty of cafes and street vendors to indulge local food and snacks. Right across from the stay is a beautiful stream that you can walk alongside in the morning with your coffee/tea. Would highly recommend this spot on your visit to Jeonju!
