We have stayed at these condos before and couldn't recommend this area more! Since we've stayed in other units before, I wanted to provide a review on this one. For the condition of the unit, I think this one is overpriced compared to other (more updated and cleaner units). In fact, we paid a little bit more for this one compared to the one we stayed in last.
I realized when we were almost to the unit that we didn't have any check-in information. They said they emailed the info but I never received it. I had to message/call a number and each code they gave me didn't work. After several tries, it finally worked. I have no idea what their typical process is, but for us, it was not convenient at all.
The one thing that is notably different in this particular unit is what would typically be considered the Master bedroom (larger room and bathroom), actually has 2 queen beds. Which is great to sleep more people comfortably and is overall, probably a better use of space. The King bed is located in the room that is smaller and with a smaller bathroom. I'm not sure if there were air conditioning problems in the unit but the smaller bedroom was so hot. There were fans in the closet (which we definitely used!) but they were so noisy and kept us up a lot of the night.
Pros:
-Lots of dishes/utensils
-Kitchen appliances were updated
-Netflix account available for guests
-Beach chairs and wagon are awesome to have available!
Cons:
-Not very well stocked with basics (ziploc sandwich bags, etc..) They had salt, but no pepper.
-The vacuum had zero suction (requested another one but after no response for an entire day, texted again and they brought another one. It also had zero suction). With all the sand from the beach, it was super annoying not to have a good working vacuum to keep up with all the sand.
-The entire unit needs a DEEP clean. Common touchpoints (closet doors, pantry doors) have buildup of dirt. Which in this pandemic world we live in, makes it even more gross when clearly they are not deep cleaning every time someone checks out.
-The bathroom shower in the smaller bedroom has black mold in the grout. That's completely unacceptable. That same bathroom is in desperate need of being updated.
-Only 5 beach towels. We were constantly doing laundry
Overall, my review is that the price should be lowered to reflect the actual condition of the unit. Would have been 1 star rating but they let us check out 3 hours later which I appreciated.
