The hotel needs a major refresh. We booked a King Room through hotels.com and we got a Queen Suite. They couldn't accommodate the King for us. They told us it was the error of Hotels.com. The manager was very kind and understanding, he said he'd contact Hotels.com and tell them what happened. He said we should get a refund. Nothing yet. Parking is very limited.

The bed mattress was uncomfortable. We were disappointed to find that the pool and hot tub were broken. Hotel staff response was “ well it was reported on the web site”. Guess one should check the web site before they check in.

Close to the airport

I stayed here for five days for the closing on my mother’s house. It is very conveniently located near the Kalamazoo airport (AZO) but you will need to rent a car to get around. I had some issues when they did not clean the room, empty the trash, or replace the towels for four days. However, once I complained, the room was replenished and cleaned. The breakfast is very good, waffles, oatmeal, and usually a breakfast meat, potatoes, and some variation of eggs. There are a number of small local restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner. The hotel is not noisy, even though it is near the airport. There is a parking lot for the hotel, which fills up when they are busy. The staff was also helpful when I was having trouble with the wifi. It is located across a parking lot from the airport.
