Our holiday home in Kalkar on the Lower Rhine is located in the district Hönnepel, only a few 100 meters from the Rhine. It can accommodate 5 people (plus 1 toddler in travel cot) and due to the location in a dead end a lot of rest for recreation.

The 120 square meter house is of high quality and has on the ground floor a hall, guest toilet, a laundry room with washing machine and a spacious area with living room, dining room and kitchen. The entire house is enclosed by a garden and a privet hedge, which offers much privacy. The underfloor heating throughout the house ensures that you do not get cold feet even in winter.

The nearby Kernwasserwunderland is like the Rhine within a few minutes walk. Nearby attractions include the Wisseler lake with the Wisseler dunes and the Rhine promenades z. B. in Rees and Emmerich. The Dutch border is within 15 minutes by car.

Our holiday home is for our guests starting point for hikes and explorations of the surrounding area, but also for cycling on the two-country route of the Euregio Rhein-Maas or the manor route to Maas and Niers.

We provide you with cycling maps and a wide range of tourist information brochures to help you plan your stay according to your individual needs.

Excellent home in great location

We recently stayed in this home and are very glad we did! The location is wonderful and it was a nice clean home in a quiet area. The owner readily communicated with us and the check-in was quite easy. Our children particularly liked the "foosball" table upstairs and the two bathrooms came in handy. We would gladly stay here again and we can highly recommend this rental.

Nice quiet village near quaint town.

This house is located in a nice quiet village. Across the river is the town of Rees, which is very interesting if you like to explore. The house is beautiful and our family of 5 was very comfortable. Everything is in good working order and you have every convenience. The landlady is very kind and helped us plan our international trip.

Gut ausgestattetes Haus

Wir haben das Haus vor allem am Abend genutzt und es war schön ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem zentral zu unseren Aktivitäten. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Haus hat eine gute Ausstattung. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und freundlich.

De accomodatie is een prachtig huis in een zeer rustige buurt. Het ziet er keurig verzorgd uit en is van alle gemakken voorzien.Het is een 5* huis en een 5* host. Echt een aanrader.Plaatsen zoals Kleve zijn dichtbij en erg leuk om een dagje te winkelen.

Tolles Haus und schöner Garten

Mit Kindern hat man hier die Möglichkeit im Haus zu spielen (es gibt eine große Spielecke oben und viel Platz im Erdgeschoss) oder draußen. Das Bad ist groß und geräumig, hier kommt man sich auch mit vielen Leuten nicht in die Quere. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber man hat in Kalkar alles, was man im Alltag benötigt. Wenn es doch mal kurzfristig etwas sein soll, verfügt das Haus über eine Mini bar (Getränke und Eis). Die Nähe zum Kernie ist auch ein Vorteil. Man könnte vom Haus aus laufen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Sauberkeit in der Küche. Leider waren die Vormieter nicht aufmerksam und haben Geschirr, das in der Spülmaschine nicht sauber wurde in den Schrank geräumt. Dies schadet aber nicht dem Gesamteindruck des Hauses. Klare Empfehlung vor allem für Familien mit Kindern. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Haus

Wir haben ein sehr schönes langes Wochenende in diesem modernen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus verbracht. Alles da, was man braucht. Ruhige, ländliche Lage, perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren sowie den Besuch von Xanten, Emmerich, Rees etc. Aussergewöhnlich netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Rundum sehr zu empfehlen!

Super Haus und tolle Lage für einen Besuch des Wunderland Kalkars

Wir sind mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern (1 und 2 Jahre) dort gewesen. Es war alles sauber und in gutem Zustand. Ebenfalls die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt nichts im Vergleich zum eigenen Haushalt vermissen. Vor allem für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern war durch die Vielzahl an Spielzeug und sowohl drinnen als auch draußen genügend Platz das Haus perfekt. Das Wunderland Kalkar war fußläufig erreichbar (15 Minuten Gehweg). Die Gastgeber waren sehr gut erreichbar und haben bereits vorab sehr viele hilfreiche Infos mit uns geteilt. Alles in allem sind wir rundum zufrieden und können das Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben das wirklich schöne Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger Lage mit einer tollen Ausstattung für ein verlängertes Wochenende gebucht. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden es sicherlich gerne noch einmal buchen. Supermärkte sind in 10 Autominuten zu erreichen, vieles Sehenswerte in näherer Umgebung und das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet.

Meine Familie und ich haben einen super schönen Urlaub in eurem Ferienhaus verbracht. Leider hat das Wetter dieses ja nicht ganz so gepasst, das wir den Aussenbereich auskosten konnten, jedoch konnten wir viel unternehmen. Für die Abendstunden haben wir uns an die vorhandenen Gesellschaftsspiele ergötzt und entertainment mäßig ist das FH auch sehr gut aufgestellt (Netflix,RTL+,Disney+...usw). Rund um uns hat es gefallen. Nur 1 Stern abzug mussten wir geben, vom Vormieter war noch sehr viel zu erkennen. Ich möchte da nicht ins Detail gehen nur sollte man an der Reinigung noch arbeiten. Kurzurlaub

Wir haben ein Wochenende mit drei Generationen am schönen Niederrhein verbracht und uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Es ist für alle Altersklassen geeignet und es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Selten ein so gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus erlebt! Gerne wieder!

Schön wars

Für uns war das das perfekte Ferienhaus in perfekter Lage. Die Vermieter sind super kommunikativ und machen einem den Aufenthalt wirklich leicht. Es fehlte uns an nichts im und ums Haus. Die Betten kuschelig warm, die Zimmeraufteilung schön, eine Ecke im Wohnzimmer war die perfekte Spielecke für Pepa Wutz, Bausteine und Playmobil, der Garten abgeschlossen, die Ausstattung top. Wir haben uns auch in die Gegend verliebt, da wir so viele tolle Ausflüge von hier aus starten konnten, dass wir für Ostern wieder buchen wollten, aber unser Zeitraum ist bereits belegt. Also von ganzem Herzen eine Weiterempfehlung.

Top Unterkunft!!!

Gehobene Ausstattung, sehr komfortabel und modern. Ein großes Plus ist, dass Fahrräder zur Verfügung stehen. Es stehen auch mehrere Streamingdienste kostenfrei zur Nutzung bereit.
