Filthy floor, bad mattresses. Left early.

I had a room with kitchen. At first glance the place seems reasonably clean. However my white socks were black. The majority of the floor is carpeted, which I suspect was filthy. The tiled area grout was black and the corners were obviously missed a lot. The mattresses are cheap with no pillow top. It might work for someone with a strong back but I got a migraine and back/neck problems and had to leave. One of the cooking pots was in ridiculously bad shape, a white enamel pot that was black inside. It should have been thrown out. Towels are navy blue, made me wonder how they’re sterilized. I wiped off the desk and the wipe was very dirty. I had booked for 8 days, after the migraine they let me leave early no penalty.

If you like quiet, this place is perfect. Nothing fancy, but clean, neat, comfortable and friendly staff. The perfect stop on an overnight road trip.

Our room worked fine for the single night we needed, but the amenities were lacking. The toilet paper was very poor quality and the bathroom linens had stains. Also, the water pressure on the shower was too weak to even bother trying to wash my thick hair. The one staff member I spoke with at check-in was friendly and very efficient at completing the check-in.

I stayed at Grandview Motel for a second time, and I remember my first visit much better than this time. I was informed by text in the last moment that there will be some maintenance work in my room, which did not really aligned with my plans. Even if the maintenance people stayed for only a couple a minutes, I found it disturbing.
