The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the hotel (at least my room) is becoming rundown and starting to look shabby.
the seat of the office chair is torn.
The crack in the tub surround will probably eventually let water in to cause mildew.

Sometimes you gotta stay where you gotta stay

The room was just very tired. Stains and cigarette burns all over the carpet. Bathroom was literally falling apart. AC unit was so disgusting I was scared to breathe the air that may come out of it so I chose to overheat. They charged me $20 for my small dog and I don’t really get it, they should be charging $20 a night for humans that stain ans burn floors. We were in a pinch as our child was in the hospital across the street. Though a Howard Johnson would at least be decent. Not so much. Avoid.

Arrived with no towels in the room. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. We stayed last week and the other room was excellent. Upgrading should be a must if they want repeat customers to return.

Very Disappointed

Very disappointed in Hotels.com for suggesting this hotel. These pictures on your site must have been digitally altered, because this hotel was clearly lacking in cleanliness. For once a reputable name like Howard Johnson, it’s so sad that it hasn’t been brought up to the Regal level it was once known for.
