Iâm sitting on the lanai the last evening of our 11 day stay at this beautiful condo. The palms are gently swaying in the breeze, birds are chirping, and the ocean is calm and serene in the distance. The condo was everything we could have hoped for and more for our time at the Big Island. Everything is as depicted in the photos, and the condo itself was immaculate and the property grounds are tranquil and quiet- no loud parties here! Thereâs a Foodland grocery store 2 minutes away and a Snorkel Bobâs in the same shopping center.We had two minor issues, regarding the washer and dishwasher. Turned out the washer door has a loose hinge so the door needs to be slightest lifted before attempting to close it, and to start the dishwasher, you quickly press the start button- if you hold it too long, the cycle is cancelled. Both times I called about these, some was out within an hour to help out.The beach on the grounds is just lovely, with many loungers and covered cabanas to use. Just a 2 minute drive and we were there, with Napua restaurant just off the beach to get a meal if you like. We also visited Waialea Beach and Two Step Beach ( amazing snorkeling there!), but most days we were content at Mauna Lani- it was so convenient. The condo had plenty of beach towels and also had 4 chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to use. (You wonât need these unless you go to other beaches though.)
