The history of the property's link to Hollywood is truly a reason to check out this Motel. The closeness to several national and state parks is another reason. While it is an older property it has been nicely updated and very quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend the Parry Motel to anyone looking for a unique and pleasant stay in Kanab, Utah.

Wish every hotel was this awesome and accommodating! Friendliest staff ever, the history in that place pretty amazing, stay in rooms Hollywood stars stayed in, really good breakfast buffet. Hope someday i get to go back there♡ coolest hotel in the coolest little town ;)

Love the old time western feel . The fact that actors stayed there while filming movies is so cool! Great vibe and so much character . Nice pool and outdoor fire pits which we used a few times . And …. The best breakfast you could ask for and so reasonably priced. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. Johnny and Julie were more than friendly and helpful ! Always making sure you had what you needed . We stayed 5 nights and I am very happy we chose your place. a lot of restaurant's and shops all within walking distance. I’d take this over a Holiday Inn or Marriott any day , given the choice .

Bates Motel

It was as if the rooms had been closed for many years and then opened for rental. The draps were hanging by a couple of hooks. Sitting room had one couch an not comfortable and did not seem clean. It's listed as a 9.2 wonderful, but on a scale of 1-10 should be a 2.0. I have never listed a negative review but this place requires it.

Loved the nostalgic look and feel of this classic lodge. I grew up watching the westerns and movies that were filmed here. Beds were a little firm for my liking but not a reason to not stay here again. Staff was amazing, hard working and very nice. Always a smile! Will definitely stay again when we pass through Kanab again!

It needs TLC

This was a cute historic hotel. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. It needs some TLC in the rooms and the grounds to take it up a notch, as well as more modern conveniences such as USB ports near the end tables, which is an easy upgrade. The staff was great.

Fantastic Stay!

Beautiful and nostalgic place to stay! The staff is amazing—so helpful and kind. It’s a wonderful lodge in a great location. The breakfast buffet has everything you’d ever want. There’s also coffee and tea in the rooms, I enjoyed all of the pictures of stars.

Historic property from yesteryear. Room was immaculate and well decorated. Everything functional. Parking right in front of your room. Breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory. Local park and trails nearby. Several excellent restaurants in walking distance from lodge. Would highly recommend this establishment to others.
