The room was spacious, beautiful and amazing! This is a self serve hotel. I didn't know that when i booked. There is no reception they give you codes for entry. Process was pretty seamless. If i called they responded immediately! One small critique. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for hair and makeup! Maybe invest in some small desk mirrors with lighting or the ones with the arm that attach to the wall that has built-in lights. Other than that i would absolutely stay here again and again!
Great location and such a fun concept! The micro-hotel was spotless and had a retro London vibe that made the stay feel unique and stylish. Perfect for a quick trip to Kansas City â weâd definitely stay again.
We very much enjoyed this property. Very unique hotel with a great outdoor space on the rooftop. Parking in the alley is limited but street parking is ample and we had not issues. Hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the email that had check-in instructions. Highly recommend and will be back!
This place was super nice! Quiet neighborhood and a nice spot to snag for our Starlight Theater concert which was about 15 minutes away. Thereâs a coffee shop across the street thatâs convenient, along with a restaurant across the street (Union on the Hill) that had a GREAT happy hour. The bed in this hotel was beyond amazing. Weâll be staying here again! Perfect experience.
This is such a great place. Tucked away down a quiet road near Cherry, the directions can be a little misleading as you actually park down an alleyway off of McGee Trafficway. But it is easy enough to find. Absolutely stunning design and being able to self check in is great.
Walkable to breakfast and coffee, bars, and fine dining. I felt safe traveling solo and loved the ammenities. Just don't bring back your leftovers as there is no minifridge in the room. I am already booking my next trip back.
Don't often book hotel rooms as I prefer Airbnb but this one really stood out as an amazing option on a short notice trip. The room I was in was incredibly clean, almost romantic in setting, and incredibly comfortable. Personalized touches from the owners made the stay much more appealing in atmosphere and vibrancy.
The easy access in and out of the hotel at any time was another great bonus. The location was almost perfect: a coffee cafe right across the street, several restaurants within walking distance, and a not so scenic but a great settled spot that offered a sense of safety and flexibility in driving anywhere locally.
My only complaint on this trip would be the parking availability but this is more of just a personal grief. You receive a notice about the limited availability and that additional parking is available streetside. The location and services provided otherwise, make up for more than enough.
Would definitely recommend this location with a romantic partner or a vacation trip to explore KC. Will definitely book here again in the future.
Great renovation and conversion from warehouse to chic hotel! Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated.
Within easy reach of all the things most people would want to do in KC. Definitely recommend, especially if you are looking for something a little different from the chain hotels.
this property is stunning; the decor was mid-century modern, sleek and very intentional. the bed was so soft, comfy and supportive. the bathroom was spacious and also the room as well. i loved everything about this boutique hotel experience. a coffee shop is right across the street serving up delicious coffee/matcha and bites. i would exclusively stay here anytime I am in KC!
It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it.
I just stayed here with my son on a long road trip from Florida to Utah. We booked it last minute. It didnât have a ton of reviews but we were on an adventure so I figured, why not take a chance. So glad we did! The place was eclectic and newly renovated.
I loved the decor â the plants, coffee table books, and overall vibe. The beds were super comfortable.
My goodness, I donât know where to start with this review. We fell in love with this place! Itâs tucked away with a private parking area and within walking distance to several restaurants. Across the street is a delightful coffee shop with tasty pastries, and several bars with excellent happy hour specials. No matter your budget, thereâs a place close by to eat and have a drink.
The decor was my favorite. It has such a chic feel. Downstairs thereâs a coffee station with plants, gorgeous lighting, fascinating coffee table books (that I wanted to read/steal for myself!). It felt like I stumbled unto a corner in the Chateau Marmont. Our room was clean & gorgeous. Every detail of that place was designed by someone with quite an eye!
Upstairs is a private patio area with above planters and stylish furniture. Hello sage macrame umbrellas! Those were gorgeous!
The owners were delightful, friendly & helpful. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!
