This is a "economy" hotel I'd call it. A lot of the east parking lot is a disaster next to dangerous. Lot to the west was much better A Drury inn used to be here and this place replace that some time ago. Facility needs work to replace flooring , lights bathroom. Price was equivalent to condition of facility. Service was ok with attentive , competent desk help. Breakfast was pretty good for class of hotel. We had small kids and bathtub didn't have stopper. Desk couldn't provide one. Room was clean enough and comfortable. But overall facility needs work. It was an inexpensive stay so no real regrets

We arrived at three to a line and asked to check in early when it was our turn. We were told there were no rooms available at that time even though the person before us did not have a reservation and was given a room right away. I was told I’d get a call when our room was ready and never did. The cleaning staff was actually nicer than the front desk staff. They talked to us while we were waiting, showed us another bathroom we could use when they saw we were in line for the bathroom in the lobby, and asked us what our plans were while in town. The parking is confusing. There are “parking spots” clearly drawn but then signs that say no parking, tow away zone. More than half the parking spots are completely unusable with no obvious reason. I would not stay here again. There are plenty of other good hotels.

Overall, this hotel was great. It is a little older, so you can expect things to not look in top shape, but it was very clean, and the staff were nice, it offers free parking. The complimentary breakfast was really good! The best part about it was you could walk to the Chief's game. When they say it is 15-minute walk, they aren't lying. It was so convenient. When you first pull in, you think it might be abandoned because there are no cars in the parking lot, don't let that fool you. We found out later that there was a Denny's in front of the hotel that burned down and so now it's just a slab of concrete and parking spots, those spots are not part of the hotel property. The hotel parking is behind the building. The only thing I wish would've been different is the website says their pool is open until end of September. I was there Sept 27, and it was not open. That was unfortunate, because it was 90 degrees out that weekend! I would definitely stay again if I was heading to a football or baseball game.

we have stayed here numerous times over the years when we attend Royals or Chiefs games and have always had a pleasant stay. Its within walking distance to stadium and the staff has always been friendly and courteous during our stay.

We attended a Chiefs game and then hotel is within walking distance of the stadium. We checked I. The day before and left our car there during the game (saved us on parking and fighting traffic to leave… we then also stayed that night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was exceptional (they should maybe invest in expanding for future Super Bowl opportunities etc) the rooms were a little dated (but we just needed them to sleep in) I will definitely be staying there again next time we come into town for a Chiefs game or a Royals game!!
