PLEASE READ IF PLANING TO STAY HERE: Hotel was nice and clean! Breakfast was very simple, only grab and go items other then the waffle maker. Also if you choose to “pay at hotel” setting when BOOKING FOR THIS HOTEL be careful because they charged me way more then what the original price was due to “rates changed” and didn’t honor my original price. Even tho I booked more then 2 weeks ago … I noticed the HUGE AMOUNT CHARGE AFTER CHECKING IN and WAS not notified until charged And was not to happy about this and had no where else to go, if I would have known before I wouldn’t have stayed here and probs would have stayed somewhere nice for the amount they charged me. I was told to make sure to read the “little fine print” so be aware of that! Also Expedia tried helping me but told me they couldn’t help me after they called hotel cuz of the same thing the hotel told me and they tried fighting it with hotel. I payed through hotel so they couldn’t help me/honor the price. They told me in order to avoid this next time to pay through app so hotel does not DO THAT TO you again and have a way to fight it. But other then that hotel was nice and clean and good location to eat/stores/ grocery shopping if needed.

Overall it was basically clean, but I noticed as soon as I walked into our room I could smell cigarette smoke! At one time, somebody has smoked in there! When I checked in the desk clerk was not very friendly- made a point to tell me no smoking in the rooms! Ha! Breakfast was very minimal, waffle maker, cereal bars, packaged muffins. Also I asked through Expedia to have room, close to elevator or in the first floor. Neither happened! Second floor, all the way to end of the hall!

So…I booked my reservation on Orbitz but when I got to the hotel they said they didn’t have the reservation and that they had blocked reservations from 3rd party companies (like Orbitz) due to work being done here. But they were very kind to give me a room since I was only staying one night. Thank goodness since I had no way to contact Orbitz or time to find another hotel.

Run! How this establishment has 4.2 stars is absolutely mind blowing to me. They must be bots because this experience was so bad top to bottom. First, the price I booked on hotels.com was not the price they charged me. $30 more for almost $165. Now, maybe that’s hotel.com’s fault. I could have let it go. But, let me say this room wasn’t worth a penny over $70 in my opinion. Second, the staff was… quite rude about this despite the fact they had multiple people with the same issue complaining. Finally made it to the room and the smell was TERRIBLE. Like truly awful. A combination of urine, wet cigarettes, and copious amounts of Febreze. The room was dirty and shown numerous signs of damage. If I had the luxury of leaving and booking a different hotel I would have. Eventually, got up at 2:30am and checked out. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Left feeling dirty and exhausted. Let mine be a lesson for you. Don’t do it.

Great price for how new and clean it is

Very clean hotel. Nice rooms for the cost. We have started here many times while I'm Missouri. Wish the breakfast was a little more, but that's okay. For the price this is a great hotel.

Clean place to sleep, don’t expect much more

The hostess was smoking at the front door when we arrived. Then we found out the pool was out of service even though we had used the filter for “swimming pool” on hotels.com. Our 4 year old was sad because we had been telling him we could swim when we arrived. They had some renovations going on so there were wires hanging everywhere and dust all over the floor. The construction mess was mostly cleaned the next morning at least. The breakfast was being closed down early the next morning. Overall the cleanliness of the rooms was perfectly fine, just the other stuff that was really unfortunate.

Staff not friendly, pool out of service, carpeting throughout stained and tattered, unable to raise height of swivel chair in room, no outlet provided for coffeemaker where it was had to move it across the room to brew coffee, coffee available in lobby at checkin at 4:00 was last brewed at around 10 that morning according to the desk staff.

Our check in time was 3:00 pm. We arrived at 4:00 pm. The front desk said our room wasn’t ready and to come back in 30 minutes. I asked if we could wait in the lobby for 30 minutes until our room was cleaned and ready. The woman working the front desk said that we could not wait in the lobby and must return in 30 minutes. I told her that was very weird because lobbies are for paying guests and she said that we COULD NOT wait in the lobby. So we waited in our car for 30 minutes. We went back inside to check in. Then upon check in, we learned that the pet fee was $40 per night, PER PET. With two small dogs, that was an extra $80 per night for the room. We were staying for 7 nights so that was over $500 extra for the week.!So we left. Found a much nicer hotel that welcomed us and only charged $87 one time per fee for the entire week. Bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have pets. I also wouldn’t recommend this place because they wouldn’t let us wait inside the lobby while they were cleaning our room. Very poor customer service.
