Excellent communication with renter. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our group - so nice that we didn't have to all share. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. I had to clean the washer out a little and the coffee machine, but it was no big deal. Very close to everything we needed. I really enjoyed it!
This was a great place to stay overall! 5 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms/showers made our group stay a breeze! The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. Kitchen accommodations were quality and useful. We loved the shareable spaces with multiple table and seating options. The back patio/yard was also a fun place to hang out and play some games! Location was good for downtown activities and other exploring. The parking can be tight for bigger vehicles but we appreciated there was off street parking for several vehicles available. Overall enjoyed this house for our trip!
From the moment we entered this beautiful house we were amazed at the cleanliness, it smelled wonderful, we had so much space. Each room had their own bathrooms which blew all of us away. The charm and style we just loved it all. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. Amenities were readily available. The back yard is perfect for family of all ages with games and fires pit. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the stay and we would definitely stay again.
To be honest, we were slightly nervous driving to the house, as the neighborhood to the north of the property appears to be a bit "rough". However, the house itself was surrounded by other (what appeared to be) rental houses. A short 3 block drive south and west took us into a much nicer neighborhood. We stayed for a bachelorette party, so we had 12 women. The house was perfect for sleeping 2-3 guests per room, each with our own bathroom. However, we only had 2 towels and 1 washcloth in most bathrooms (I would recommend bringing your own if you don't want to share). In addition, we were able to find extra comforters for the sofa beds and plenty of pillows, but there were no extra sets of sheets to be found. The house has an extra "kitchenette"/laundry room on the upper level, which was convenient. And the hosts provided us with extra coffee/creamer/sugar for the coffee makers. The backyard was nice...fenced in and fairly private, with the exception of sharing a backyard with the rental house next door. As for location, the house was a very short Uber ride to Country Club Plaza, and not a bad Uber ride to Power & Light. Being with a group of girls, we took an Uber everywhere for safety, but you could also walk to Country Club Plaza or the art museum. In addition, there is a nice coffee shop just across the street and a walking path just a couple blocks west of the house. For the price, it was perfect for our needs. We weren't in the house much other than sleeping.
Our group of ten met for our annual reunion, spending three nights in the Sewille House. It was a great stayâvery clean, a perfect size for our group & comfortable. Everything was in good working order & very accommodating. William Bates was attentive & resposive. Would stay again & recommend to others.
The house is wonderful! Very clean, lots of room, and very well equipped. William responds almost immediately to messages. The area immediately around the house is fine but if you go a couple blocks, the neighborhood is a little "sub par" but we didn't have any problems at all. I believe it is an area in transition. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Bathrooms in each bedroom are wonderful when you are hosting a group of friends. The ladies really appreciated the privacy. Kitchen is nicely stocked with useful items.
We were celebrating Christmas with the family and went to see the County Club Plaza lights. The house was large enough for all of us to be able to stay.
Our company sent four technicians for training in Kansas City, and we couldn't be more impressed with William and Nichole. When our team accidentally arrived at the wrong location, they guided us through the entire process with ease. They were incredibly approachable and met all our needs. We are truly grateful for their exceptional hospitality.Thank you, William and Nichole!
Truly a wonderful property. Easy to get to. Other reviews commented poorly on the neighborhood but our group had no problems and didn't think it was bad at all. The house is beautiful, great kitchen and most importantly plenty of room for people to spread out or gather together and enjoy each other. A real five Star experience.
The check in process was simple and the property manager responded quickly to messages. The house was comfortable and clean with lots of room to hang out.
This was a great house and the property managers could not have been better - super attentive, responsive, and would always get right back to me when I'd have questions. Highly recommend!
"I had an amazing stay at William's place in Kansas City. The location was perfectâclose to everything we needed, making it incredibly convenient. The space was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we booked until the time we left, William was quick to respond and incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth experience. If you're looking for the best place to stay in Kansas City, this is it!"
The property had nice decor and remodeling. However, it could have been cleaner. I found the floors and stairs to need a bit more attention, but the towels and bedding were clean and smelled fresh. It had plenty of room, bedrooms and bathrooms for my whole family. This was great!
The major downfall of the property is the location. It is not in the best neighborhood, even though it is close to the plaza and fairly close to downtown KC. This is probably reflected by the price, which I was happy with. So, overall, is was a pretty good stay. A couple of annoying things: the upstairs has motion activated lights in the hallway. They are very bright and shined into the bedrooms due to the windows above the doors. The street is not very quiet either. We heard maybe outdoor noises.
A charming historical home with plenty of room! We enjoyed our stay very much. Close to the Nelson Atkins Art Museum which was a plus for us, great coffee shop across the street. Our group of 16 had a relaxing, comfortable stay. Our host was great to work with, very accommodating!
