The biggest problem here was the parking. There's a lot right across from the hotel, but it is extremely difficult to figure out -impossible really- unless you read Chinese very well. However, the staff went the extra mile and helped me with that. This was definitely outside what one would expect, as there is no relationship and the hotel clearly says onsite parking is not available. So, they went above and beyond when they helped us. There is a light rail station about 20 seconds walk from the hotel front door, and good access to shopping and art-related areas within a few minutes walk. Few if any Western guests, and the staff has limited English. Overall very good choice.
Combination of good location in front of the harbor, and good atmosphere of the industrial, cozy interiors. The rooms are carefully renoveted and well-equipped, especially the stylish bathtub. Close to the lightrail station and newly-opened shopping complex, I feel the hotel is of the best ways to enjoy Kaoshungâs recent urban redevelopment.
