Just one and a half miles west is Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, a gorgeous park with scenic hiking trails and plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife. Two and a half miles east of the cottage is downtown Kennebunkport, where you will find excellent restaurants and charming shops. The surrounding towns of Kennebunk, Wells, and Ogunquit also have plenty of options for shopping, dining, and lounging on the beach.
