The only reason i give this place 2 stars is because the beds and towels were clean. Otherwise the tub surround was moldy and the carpets made your feet black, although they did provide disposable slippers. Check-in was in the restaurant/convenience store/gas station. Friendly enough staff, just a strange check-in. This worked for a one night stay on our road trip but way over priced for what you get, this should be an $80 a night kinda place.

The room was so outdated. The bathroom sink was from the early 70’s the shower was very small with no shelf inside for soap or shampoo. I think they must have emptied the bottle of Fabreeze from top to bottom. Very pungent. The rug was extremely stained. I found mould on the shower door bottom hinge. I think the bedspreads were also from the 70’s and I’m not kidding. The door only locked with the deadbolt and the door was misaligned so there was a big gap at the bottom which I stuck the facecloth in to hide and made the door tighter. I could hear everything going on from the rooms surrounding. Very noisy. Would not recommend to anyone. And at $150.00 a night I guess it’s a bargain.??

We had 3 of us in the room and received one face cloth and 3 hand towel..how to shower? Being own towels. While they state they have A/C they control it. Carpets are sticky. Chain on door has not locking ability and the piece of the door that engages to the strike plate was stuck in the door. Thank goodness for the deadbolt. Wifi is rubbish. Lastly you have to set up the tv and cable yourself.

The stay was fairly average. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids, as there was a noticeable smell of weed. The room had some bugs, and both the room and washroom were quite small. After the gas station closes, there’s no staff available on-site, which can be inconvenient. The security deposit was also relatively high, and the room lacked sufficient lighting. On a positive note, the location is close to a beautiful beach and park, both within walking distance. Parking is available just in front of the building.
