Stayed 2 nights on a quick trip to a concert at Bethel Center for the Arts. The hosts were very responsive and the place very clean. The beds were luxurious and I always appreciate crisp white sheets!Loved the tea box in the kitchen! Had everything we needed:)Only downside was to be there in peak summer, complete with high humidity. The air cons are in both bedrooms, thankfully, so sleeping was fine. We just didn't bake cookies!
I booked this property a long time ago to coincide with concert tickets I purchased. When we first arrived at the property it was very hot and we discovered there were only two portable room air conditioners in the bedrooms. If the air conditioners were in the bedrooms it was hot and unpleasant elsewhere in the house which limited where my guest and I could be together. There were also lots of little bugs in the window sills (mostly in the living room), in the one bedroom and in the bathroom. The little bugs in the bathroom increased slightly each day (we were only there 2 days). Granted, we are in the woods so there will be bugs, but there is definitely something that needs to be fixed with that. Also, there was only one TV that worked for viewing/streaming. The Wifi only worked on one side of the house. The TV in the living room and other bedroom would not connect to the Wifi (it wasn't a dealbreaker, but it would have been nice to connect to the TV) The air conditioning situation should definitely be more clear. When I contacted the host to advise about the bugs and a tear in the comforter in the one bedroom, they responded promptly so communication was not an issue. Overall it was not a bad stay, just not the best.
Great location. Nice, clean and had everything we need to enjoy our stay. I didnt see that it had 2 twin beds as well. Which was a pleasant surprise because i was planning on sleeping on the couch. Three bed rooms. 2 Q and 2 twins. Beautiful area. Would stay again for sure. Got to see a concert while we were there. 8 mins to Bethel Woods!
