Three Week Keys Vacation

Had a great time at Key Colony. The rental we had was a little small but good enough for us. It was very clean and well appointed. Loved the back patio to hang out and fish in the canal. The only complaint I have is the A/C is only window units and they were very loud especially the one in the master bedroom but they worked and kept us cool.

Exceptional stay @ KCB

Key Colony Beach is a wonderful place to stay in Marathon. This unit was tastefully updated/decorated and fit the bill perfectly for our Keys vacation. It's right on the canal (we saw a mom and baby manatee the first day we got there), and it's close to anything you need in Marathon and the Keys in general. We used the KCB club one day, ate at the restaurant one night, and enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with some local guides. The unit has good A/C, all the amenities you need for a stay, nice TV's (although who goes to the Keys to watch Netflix?), and a well supplied kitchen and gas grill (although...please clean it when you're done...the last guest didn't so I had to clean it before use. Don't be "that guy".) I would highly recommend this unit and I would book here again in a heartbeat.

Key Colony Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this 2/2 duplex in Key Colony. Located in a nice neighborhood on a nice wide canal. It was great to have our boat right out back. The home is small, but had plenty of space for us. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed, and Publix is a 15 minute drive. Bathrooms and hallways small, but we were comfortable. You are very close to neighbors ( and attached on one side) but that was mostly fine. The next door neighbors had quite a lot of extra guests for July 4th, so we did not have much privacy. They were pretty noisy but tried to be respectful. There is a nice park down the street which was great for sunset.

Hidden Gem

This quaint little property is all you need for a nice getaway with your spouse! We downloaded the app and check-in and out was a breeze. Place was super clean and we spent every morning outside on the patio overlooking the canal. We didn’t use grill but looked great. The place is equipped with your basic cooking needs. You will need to pick up all your grocery needs from the store - including S&P, but all good! The filter in the fridge needs replacing, bought water from the store instead. The AC while keeping the place cool we’re a bit noisy, but again kept us very cool at night. We rent bikes - highly recommend and went to the cabana beach club everyday - need to bring towels and no outside F&B is allowed, so FYI there. It’s clean staff is super friendly and the drinks were strong! Loved the Bahama Mama and Margaritas. Check out sunset park as well, super cool viewing and also a hidden gem! Key Colony Inn had great food and great bartenders! We went twice during our stay. Overall a nice place to stay!

Key Colony Beach Rental

The home was beautiful and clean, and exactly what we needed for a weeks stay. There were TVs in all rooms, unfortunately you could only get to a few stations(consider free channels like Roku). Took some time to find the washer/dryer, it's in the master bedroom. Soap, shampoo, conditioner were provided. Also had blow dryer and iron. We were 1 hr 30 min from the airport and Key West. Next time, I would like to be closer to Key West.

Wonderful Retreat

The house was perfect for my wife & I. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath gave us plenty of room. Even with another couple you will have enough room. The house is centrally located in Key Colony Beach on 9th St. When we went to check in after 4:00pm the cleaning service was not finished cleaning the house. The cleaner did not know when she would be done. We found this completely unacceptable. We called her company & they said they would send someone over to help her finish. When the other cleaner arrived, instead of finishing the job, they both left. The house was 3/4 cleaned. The owner needs to an exterminator. We found little brown ants in the utensil drawer & very tiny black bugs crawling on the counter also unacceptable. Not sure if I would rent here again

Great experience!!!

Check in and check out process was very easy. Upon arrival the place was super clean and organized. There were extra clean sheets and clean towels for both rooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, silverware and cups. Location was amazing, we came down to do some diving and this was perfect driving distance to several dive centers. The community was beautiful, well kept and clean. The House is on the canal with easy outlet to the open water. We would definitely stay at this house again.
