unfortunately, my friend and I experienced bug bites during our stay. We suspect there might be an issue with bed bugs or other pests in the room. This was very uncomfortable and disappointing.

Never again will I stay at the Holiday Inn, Key Largo. The toilet handle was shot. It would constantly run, I was locked in the bathroom multiple times. They sent a man to fix it. But the last night I was stuck again. The door is not right. For what we paid to stay, it was not worth it.

The garden landscaping with flowering trees and palms was very relaxing. The waterfall pool was way too hot for some reason but still pretty. There was a second pool that was ok too. The tiki bar by the pools was not great, same drinks different each order. They had you say your room number and last name out loud and we ended up with charges that weren't ours. The hotel did review and remove them quickly so that was very nice of them. Room was clean and the fridge was large. We would recommend a stay there to other people because overall it was a very nice stay. There was a restaurant connected by the parking lot and it was fabulous, had a great view and roofed dock to eat outside.

Comfortable and convenient

While it met our needs, it was not at all what I expected from the photos. It had comfortable beds and our room overlooked the marina. If you book here, I would request a marina view. This is an older two story hotel with no elevators and most of the building had external entrances. The building with the marina view had internal entrances. Luckily, our room was on the first floor and we did not have to haul our 50 pound suitcases up the stairs. It is an older style hotel. I should have researched better, and the pictures are deceiving. The beach is not within walking distance and the hotel is located directly off the busy highway. It met all of our needs but this is an older style, very basic place. The location is near several restaurants, at least two that are walking distance. The hotel also has restaurant but we did not eat there. It’s fine for one or two nights, but I would not want to book a week’s vacation here.

The hotel's hot tub went out 2 days out of our 4 night stay. The pool was supposed to be heated as well but it was not. They had a part that broke. The outside of the hotel was nice but the inside was basic and old. The rooms do not look like the photos posted. The drawers were off the hinges. $15 basic breakfast fee not included. It was not worth the price we paid. The location was perfect and convenient to all the stores. Cheaper hotel in the keys area.

Great little spot to get away

This little hotel beat my expectations. The foliage and the way it's situated around the pool really make it feel relaxing. It's also in a very convenient location, right at the marina and close to many restaurants.

Hotel rooms are very dated and warn out. The A/C kept the room cool, but the fan never shut off. There was a gas station in front of hotel. We drove by several times. No complementary breakfast which is the norm for Holiday Inn. $15 gets a buffet breakfast.

Clean rooms and conveniently located for excursions. We took a boat to snorkel right from the dock outside the hotel. The boat from the movie African Queen is also shocked right outside and takes tourists out. It was nice to also have a few nice restaurants with live music in easy walking distance.

Hilton in Key Largo was awful.

Bath was out dated, sink leaked, only one desk chair, no othe chairs in room. When i booked the hotel through hotels.com it stated that breakfast was included in the price, when I got to the hotel they wanted 15.00 for breakfast. Imy room was in the back of the hotel, facing a shopping center. The maintenance crew rolled a dozen lage towel creates on wheels making a lot of noise outside my room starting at 8:00am. Construction was going on in the next room at 8:00. I dont think this Hilton Garden likes you customers. This is the forst time with the breakfest cost either.

The breakfast was really good, the room was clean mostly, but the floor needed a good scrub (my feet got dirty just walking in y room). Staff were very pleasant and helpful/responsive. On last day the cleaning staff disregarded our DND sign and came in to clean while we were at early breakfast. They should have waited until the check out time before entering - they did leave once we came back, but it was awkward and disappointing. I would stay here again as the beds were comfy and the location was perfect.
