Elevator Death Trap

We got stuck in the elevator when it broke. Once we finally pried our way out and made it back to the room, I called the front desk to let them know their elevator was broken. The phone was terrible and crackly. After letting the phone ring 20 times or more, someone finally answered. The office attendant didn’t seem to care about the elevator at all nor did he care about the fact that we were stuck in it!

Wasn’t too happy with paying for parking when you already paying for the room. But this time that I’ve gone to the keys, I noticed that Parking was a big business.

Key West Vaca

The staff at heck in and out as well as the concierge were amazing and very helpful. The room was nice, but the floors were very dirty and had to walk around with house shoes because of it. The pull out couch had stains all over it. The mattress needs to be replaced. Balcony was perfect. Bathroom was a great size. We requested room service and didn’t not receive it. Had to ask for towels daily. The pool was very nice. The tiki bar was nice however they did not take cards. The guy helping us asked to give him some time before helping us while he made several calls. Breakfast was great! Service was great there also. Loved that our hotel was a trolley stop! Great location for food and stores. Disappointed in the drivers for the shuttle. First time we took one, the driver was sitting in the back and when he saw us, told us we were 5 mins late and didn’t want to take us back to our hotel. The 2nd driver turned up the music to drown us all out because we were having fun talking to other people. Rude driver do not get tips. Yes I would stay again regardless.

The hotel is a bit old, but the room and bed were comfortable and very clean. They also have a nice swimming pool that’s perfect for relaxing. Overall, it was a good stay.

Not happy

The room was not clean. The floors looked dirty and stained including the bathroom floor and shower. The sliding door track was dirty. The air conditioner return was full of dust. There were hidden charges which I was not aware of until I received a statement in my email. I was told that bottled water was free, the shuttle to downtown was free. I was charged a $28.13 daily Destination Fee plus $11.25 daily for parking. NOT FREE.

Aside from being very outdated the price I agreed to on Expedia was 292.00 a night but was charged 369.00 and 495.00 the hotel office said oh well this is the price
