The room I booked on Expedia was nothing like it in person. Not sure if thatâs Expedias fault or the Hotel but it was not a suite. Then when I brought it to the attention of the staff they were very unhelpful saying its through a third party booking, nothing they could do and said those rooms didnât even exist. The TV wasnt a smart TV without even a guide to click on. It was impossible to reach anyone at the front desk with any issues and it took 45 minutes to check out as one of their printers was broken and their system was down. Beautiful location and pool and beach area which is the only reason I even gave it the 2 stars
Nice, directions to our room were very confusing..along with the room number didnât match what was written on room card holderâŠbut frustratingâŠbut rest of experience was great
Rooms need a good, thorough cleaning (a lot of mold in the bathroom), the restaurant is WAY over-priced & has a lack-luster selection, and the door-based key card receivers all need new software or something since mine never worked & security would need to meet me at my room to let me. Most of the staff were nice, the beach location was terrific, and the convenience of a local convince store was fantastic.
We were unhappy with our âresort view roomâ which was, in fact, a view of a parking lot and laundry-operations of the neighboring hotel. We brought it to the attention of the desk clerk on Check in and nothing was done. We also felt that the $67 per day resort fee was excessive given the high price of the room to begin with.
