I’d suggest you steer clear of this property. We were pretty bummed out because the ad didn’t quite match the reality, and it was a big mess. We had to leave a night early, which unfortunately cut our Christmas holiday with family short.If I could, I’d give it zero stars. Some of the main problems were that there was no microwave, no internet or TV (the host suggested we use a hotspot, but if you’re not with Telstra, there’s practically no reception) and the bathroom floorboards were water-damaged, and mouldy. The fridge and freezer were also mouldy and rusty, and two of the four burners on the cooktop weren’t working. The main bedroom fans were too slow and the speed switch didn’t work (which was a bit much on a hot December day), plus the fans were dirty and there were heaps of other issues. The house is also full of stuff left by previous guests such as random shampoo, kitchen utensils, cutlery, etc.We’re also a bit disappointed with the Stayz/Vrbo support team, especially how this has been handled and the little compensation they’ve offered, even though they advertised it as a guarantee.
