Fantastic experience overall. We cooked 3times per week and used the beach amenities available in the house. The house was quiet and we had all the utilities that we wanted. Maui Home Away from Home

This 2BR condo on the 4th floor was excellent and just as it was in the photos. The king beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable and the pull out couch was also satisfactory. The room was clean and well appointed. It was great to have 6 beach chairs and 6 beach towels as well as other items for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to have breakfast in the room before heading out in the morning. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was very convenient. There were laundry pods and dish washing detergent provided which was really nice. The property at Kamaole Sands is extremely well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. We didn’t use the pool or fitness center but we did use the barbecue grills for two dinners. There were at least 3 areas each with 4 Weber gas grills and large tables where you could eat. Really nice set up. Oh, and the beach is just across the street! You can also walk to a some shops and eateries. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Condo complex has a mixture of owners and short term renters like ourselves that harmonize together through kindly guided procedures, policies, and condo bylaws. User friendly for all - young families to retirement folks. Quiet times are completely respected. Staff is extremely helpful. Grounds are pristine. We would rent again and again.

Perfect location and unit for our family of 6.

Great unit! Across the street from the ocean with outstanding sunsets. Restaurants and shops within walking. Multiple swimming beaches that were within 15 min drive and were perfect for kids. The AC was strong upstairs and downstairs which was great! Arrived an hour early and was able to access the unit with a little assistance. Very quick to respond to any need. Chairs, beach toys, umbrella, towels and cooler were perfect for use everyday. Stocked well for simple necessities. Only minor issues were tiny ants in kitchen, the faucets in both showers were a bit finicky. Just have patience with water temp changing. Lastly, the floor was a bit dirty. We removed shoes but still had dirty feet. All in all, this was an amazing place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Great hosts. Mahalo! ♄

We have been to Kamaole Sands multiple times in different units and it never disappoints. This unit comes as advertised and is clean, quite well appointed and comfortable. We asked for a couple of things and they arrived promptly. Communication with the Owner’s/management is clear. We had another great vacation in Kihei. Love it.

This was our second stay at kamole sands. This condo was wonderful. Clean and well equipped. Lots of beach chairs and kids toys. Close access to the elevator. Great view over the grounds. The air conditioning kept the rooms comfortable at night. Would stay here again.

Great Condo- Amazing Location

Our family of 5 - mom, dad, 2 kids (11 & 13) and grandma - loved our stay at Kamaole Sands. The location was perfect. If you want to minimize drive time to all the east Maui locations (road to Hanna, Haleakala, airport) stay in Kihei. We so appreciated not having to drive an extra hour after doing all of our activities like we had to when we stayed in Kaanapali. The beaches in Kihei are awesome too. They have a great beach to learn to surf called Kalama Beach Park. There are plenty of places to eat and get provisions that are in walking distance from the condo too. As for the property itself, it was great! Being from Florida, we appreciated the 3 air conditioners in the condo. The unit was very well stocked for our arrival. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal for a family of 5 or more. We also appreciated that the door to the condo has a code so we did not need to carry around a key. There were about 6 beach chairs, a couple of noodles, beach toys, snorkel fins and a rolling cooler provided as well in the outdoor closet. The only complaint we had is that the mattress in the sofa bed needs to be changed. My kids ended up sleeping with grandma and that was a bit uncomfortable for 10 days. And I want to stress that if they do not change this mattress, do not expect an adult or a child to sleep comfortably in that bed. I tried it as I thought my kids were exaggerating but I only lasted 1/2 an hour. Other than that, the unit was perfect.

This is the second time we have stayed at Kamaole Sands. We love the grounds, the prices of the units are reasonable and it’s location couldn’t be better. The beach right across the street is stunning. Kihei is by far our favorite location in Maui.

Comfortable bedding

We enjoyed our 11 day stay in this condo. There was everything we needed. I especially appreciated the very comfortable mattress and bedding in the downstairs bedroom. I suffer from lower back and neck pain. Traveling is often difficult if the bedding isn't comfortable. I'm happy to say that I woke up rested and pain-free. This made enjoying activities during the day easier. My 12yo loved the pool and had other kids to play with there. Walking across the street to the beach was awesome!
