This place was great, Communication with the Killington Rental Associates was wonderful. The house was as it photographs. It was a perfect spot to ring in the New Year. After skiing, the hot tub and Sauna were a welcome retreat for the weary skiing crowd, the Kitchen was well stocked with just about anything you could need to prepare meals for a large crowd. The Bar was an added highlight for apre-Ski. There was enough space for a large crowd to gather in one spot, and enough spots to just sit and read by yourself after a day on the slopes. Easy access to Ramshead parking lot( probably could have parked elsewhere - never tried) The Ping Pong table was well used with our crowd creating a few epic battles while others were watching TV. Cons if there were any, A few pillows were super hard, There were enough extra beds that someone could find one to the right one. Trying to get the heat balanced with a couple extra fans and open doors made for a challenging night when it was super cold outside. The Master Bedroom had a Futon vs. a real bed, that's more Personal preference then Con. Would definitely Rent here again when we return to Killington with a large Crowd.
The house is big, its nice, it has a lot to offer. It's NOT ski in -ski out and it's NOT a one-minute walk to slopes. It's a 5-minute drive to slopes. Also, there is no TVs in any of the bedrooms, except the one upstairs and it's a 13" and there was no remote to turn it on. The house was dirty and dusty. But all in all, it was a nice place.
We reached out to the property management company everyday throughout our stay regarding issues with the house and we never received any response. There was one dish towel for 14 people for 4 days. There were no paper towel, trash bag or toilet paper backups. We had to purchase all of these items for the house. An alarm code was going off throughout the house each night we stayed, we were told to bypass the code which ended up resulting in the washer machine backing up, overflowing and flooding the basement on our last evening. A maintenance team had to come into the house for a few hours to clean up and fix the issue and we were unable to do any laundry before departing. House was beautiful and so was the area. The agency needs to communicate with guests that are staying at their properties and fully equip a house that large for 14+ people to stay. Not having an extra role of toilet paper, paper towels or an extra trash bag was pretty annoying when we realized.
We had a group of old friends that together for the weekend. The house was gorgeous, had a ton of room and was a lot of fun. Just a very warm, fun and relaxing place to be. There are a number of spaces that are great for gathering and plenty of awesome amenities and games for fun.
Had a great golf trip with 8 guys...enough bedrooms for all to have their own room. Plenty of space gor everyone. Great commoncommonb area fir eating and watching TV. Highly recommend!gtogether in
What a gorgeous house and more bedrooms than we thought! Location is perfect and not even a 5m drive to Snowshed lodge. The house is so roomy, but very comfortable. We were a party of 11 women, so plenty of bathrooms too! The various ski mountain posters was a hit as was the ping pong table. Given we couldnât ski because of rain one day we ended up having a tournament!
The kitchen had everything you need, so we just cooked every night, including a âThankskiingâ feast!
The rental agency was great, too! Very responsive and nice!
Thank you!!
Beautiful and comfortable house with plenty of space to relax
We rented the summit house with two other couples and had two kiddos with us. We got snowed in with 2' of snow during our stay which was awesome! There was plenty of room to spread out, the hot tub and sauna worked great, we cooked dinner twice and they had pans and silverware and everything was very clean. Look forward to staying here again.
Had an amazing time in this property with my friends. House and hot tub were immaculate, and the sauna was tricky to figure out but we got it working eventually. The mgmt company did come check on us due to a noise complaint they received while we were all on the mountain skiing and couldnât have been making noise, but they were quite pleasant about it. All in all great experience and will definitely look to rent this house again.
Awesome spot for a large group. There are a ton more beds than the ad even says which is nice. The water pressure is pretty poor and the bottom floor shower isn't even usable, and the sauna doesn't work... But other than that it gets a 10 out of 10.
Large house with lots of amenities in a quiet location close to Killington base lodge. Eight of us (adults and kids) had plenty of space (see below). Would stay here again.
One oddity: the house is listed as four bedrooms for eight occupants, but it has eight bedrooms, including one with three bunk beds.
The house was absolutely amazing ! the views were spectacular! The house had everything that you need at a very great location. Everything was great except for the management company. They were the worst company I have ever dealt with. Terrible at responding to questions, like days later in a sense where it actually affected us because we were in need of knowing things before our arrival and they answered us finally 2 days later when we were 1 hour away from the house. Before our arrival they called us and they were very rude.. Other than the beginning of our trip which was ruined by a tasteless management company the trip was fabulous. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer.
Obviously this place is beautiful, however less obvious from the pictures is that the sauna is finicky at best(as promised in other reviews), water pressure is laughable, hot tub struggles to maintain temperature once you take the top off, amazing in-house sound system is off limits, and we were harassed by a character plowing for the rental company who was unhappy with the amount of cars in the driveway...Be prepared to explain yourself if you are not cramming into a couple vehicles or have friends who want to swing by before you go out to dinner...Beautiful place all together just a few funky bits I wish I knew beforehand.
We just had a fantastic stay at this mountain home. Itâs located about a mile from the mountain and convenient to all activities (I wouldnât necessarily ski home again but if you do, just know that itâs fairly flat). The home and setting are more beautiful than the pictures show (e.g. wooden carved front door). The kitchen appliances are top of the line and well stocked (paper towels, soap, spices, oils, etc). The hot tub is perched above the trees. The basement has a sauna, ping pong table, TV area, bedrooms, and convenient laundry. We had a blast hanging out at the huge bar room above the two car garage. The favorite spot was probably just hanging around the fireplace under the soaring ceilings in the great room. Another cool spot is the landing on the second floor with oversized couch. As you can see, plenty of space to spread out (inside and out) and had everything we needed. There were a few personal belongings about (and car in garage) but likely because the owners also enjoy this amazing property and therefore have all you need to stay in (games and kids toys and more). We were there during a blizzard and power went out and got stuck in the driveway but property company was helpful at getting it all resolved quickly (we couldnât find a shovel or salt, so suggest getting both and maybe a book explaining how to use the house, etc.). Itâs a stunning home in a lovely mountain neighborhood and canât wait to return next year!
Everything was perfect , exceeded our expectations! Our family of six adults had a great time relaxing and enjoyed our time. Thank you for a truly great vacation!
