Stayed 3 nights, in a two bed room cottage , for touring the Island. It had a kitchen which was the main reason to stay there. The cottage was very quiet in a pleasant environment, and it did all what I just needed, good sleep, warm shower and cooking the meal, however it is fair, I think, to say that the place could be better maintained! As an example, the toilet was dirty and smelly as much as I ended up cleaning it with liquid soap, by myself, and the floor as well. Some windows did not lock well, though no one would come to the cottage. Some kitchen items could be replaced with new….
One would stay there, not for the comfort and the quality of the cottage, but convenience of it, for seeing the Island, so despite of the aged old cottage and not fabulous maintenance, if you need a kitchen, quiet and reasonably convenient place, one might well choose this place, I think.
We were there in March, so no need of heating and cooling, so I am not sure how it would have been if it was very cold or hot…
