If you’re looking for a quiet place , this area is it. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids, age 11-17 and wanted something different. House was great, clean with all amenities mentioned. However the pictured tiki hut was misleading, if we had known it was no longer there, we would have bought a tent for shade. But still, kids really enjoyed swimming and Since it’s all private property, it felt like we had beach all to ourselves! There’s an Heb 10 minutes out
not many restaurants in the area. House is also close by Longhorn cavern and Inks Park for hiking. Host was easy to contact and responsive . We enjoyed our stay and the area and would definitely come back!

We booked a last minute stay for Fathers Day weekend. This was our first time here and it did not disappoint! We traveled with a 5 & 10 yr old & our small dogs so we wanted to make sure we found a place on the water that was convenient and also safe for them to enjoy the water. The home was easy to find and very comfortable with all the amenities needed. The water/beach area is literally in the backyard so it was easy to haul anything we would need while enjoying the beach area, but also close enough if we needed to run back up to the house. The beach is very quiet with the occasional jet skis/boats that occasionally pass by. There are also stores in the area close by if you happen to need anything. We can definitely say we will book here again! We give the host, home and booking process 5 stars!

Perfect Getaway!

The house is so cute and very clean! The beach and the water are lovely. There are lots of restaurants nearby and an HEB. This place has everything! The owner is a great communicator which always makes things better!

We had so much fun at Sunset Beach! The dog absolutely loved the water and playing at Llano Slab. It was a great location for everything we wanted to do. The house was super clean and had everything we needed.

Wonderful Property

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The highlights: The beach area was a big plus for the smaller kids. The walk in is shallow and there is little to no boat traffic in the area since it is so close to the end of the Llano River. The sunroom was a big hit! Great for morning coffee, evening drinks and play area for the kid's games. The covered cabana, beautiful views across the river, gentle breeze and great location all add up to a great time. Only thing missing was a boat lift and jet ski lift, but if you don't mind beaching your watercraft on the sand, you can make it work. Only complaint... the gas grill needs to be retired or all the burners replaced. It was a challenge to use.

Beach Blast

This is one of the best locations in the Hill Country. It’s like Hawaii in Texas. Gorgeous place and beach with mountains in background. I cannot say enough about this location and the host Cynthia was incredible and sweet. Great time can’t wait to go back. 5 Stars all the way!!!

Long weekend with babies

We visited for a long weekend with our one year old son and our friends and their 10 month old daughter. The house was super cute with everything we needed! The private lake front beach was so cool, the babies loved playing in the sand and the parents liked the chair and palapa for shade. The water was the perfect temp but we only dipped our toes since we had such young babies. My one year old loved all the rocks on the beach. The house had lots of baby friendly items, my son loved the toy trash truck! The screened in porch was perfect for babies to play outside but allow the adults to sit back on the couches and avoid the bugs! The second bedroom is a little small but we were about to fit our pack n play in and sleep comfortably! We brought our own blow up pool and splash pad for the babies and the fenced in grassy yard was the perfect spot for it with plenty of shade under the big trees. We visited Inks Lake State Park which was pretty kid friendly and only 20 mins away. We had all we needed in the kitchen to cook up a few meals and then we also ate at Hoppers and Boat Town Burger Bar. Both good food. Hoppers had cuter vibes while Boat town had better views. I sent a message to the property owner after we left and got a very prompt response and she super nice. Overall a fabulous stay, would come again!

Amazing location and home!

We loved our Kingsland stay and our boys (3 and 5) had an absolute blast playing on the beach. The house was clean and well kept with lots of fun amenities like toys, books and games. The views were amazing and it was very relaxing. We will be back again!

Peaceful location!

We stayed at this home in July and loved the location. It is the perfect spot to have private beach access and a fenced yard for our pup. We loved it so much we booked a second stay there in October. The home is very clean and has everything you need.

A wonderful lake getaway!!

We had the best time during our stay! This is a perfect spot for little ones—our kids are 1 and 4 and the beach area was so great for them! It was exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend staying here, many wonderful memories made! The house was well stocked, clean, the host was wonderful too.

Great “beach” vacation

We’ve rented this home twice for an end-of-summer family getaway and plan to do so annually! Love that our dog can come too. Great house for family of 4 and love that this part of the lake is not super busy. Owner offers her direct contact information in case you need anything during your stay.

Great Getaway

Lots of room

Great house and plenty of room for the kids and dogs and adults . Thankful for the big yard fenced in so dogs can roam. The back porch was so nice even thought it was so hot outside . We will be back, Thank you!
