TO BE CLEAR, I wouldn't rate the room itself as "terrible;" I would rate it as "poor." I gave it the rating I did to try and lower the overall average to something more accurate. Perhaps it was my fault for not thinking "very good" could include thin, worn out sheets with small stains and a few hairs (dog, I believe). Maybe rust on metal parts, and a cigarette hole in the bedspread still qualifies for "very good."...but maybe that's just me.
We come for home football games and stay here every time. The owners are great and the rooms, while outdated, are clean, the beds are comfortable and we have everything we need.
The Budget Inn is a small property and we stay every time we are in Kingsville. The rooms are dated but very clean, very comfortable and we feel safe there. The staff are always friendly. We recommend this place to our family and friends who come down for football games. Itâs just a few minutes drive to the stadium and TAMUK campus.
The staff is very kind and accommodating. This is an older property so the rooms show wear and tear, but the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and we had a good nights sleep. We will be booking this whenever we head to Kingsville.
