The room was a king bed with a partially separated sitting area and a small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. It was clean, but the upholstery and carpet could use a cleaning. I would stay here again

While this property was fine for one night, the overall state of the property was a bit run-down. The staff were friendly and pleasant; however, I did receive 11 emails about modifications to my reservation and then used the online check-in. On the morning of checkout, I discovered that I was charged a second time for the room. I asked aboutt hsi at the desk and was infomred that anyone who uses online check in automatically gets charged teh cost of the room even if they have prepaid and that they need to request a refund to get this back. I wonder how many people have been charged twice and not noticed. They did issue a refund, but this seems like a big system problem.

This property could use major renovations. Rooms are run down and carpets were dirty. Staff are friendly and helpful but there’s only so much you can do when the property sucks. Hot water never really got hot. Outdoor self parking was easy to access and the beds were comfortable.

In all of the ADS of there was post of a pool and a hot tub, there was no pool or hot tub. The cleaners were rude when I asked to borrow silverware for my dinner, n said no but the front desk said we could then u have other families living in the hotel all rude pushy n just dont care take all the bcaon n food they took 3 bagels each left no bacon or bagels or muffins for other people Also book a hotel with a hot tub n no bubbles or soap for it amd they gave us 1 towel and 1 coffee pod for two people im very disappointed in Expedia also very disappointed in the hotel and definitely will never return ive ask for discounts or my money back n both have refused almost $300 for this garbage please save ur money and time n just light it on fire u will enjoy ur little fire better then this hotel

Waffleless In Waterloo

This is a clean, quiet hotel at a reasonable price. There are several restaurants, a mall, and St. Jacob's Farmers Market close by. Our room was spacious and clean. Our mattress, unfortunately, was far too firm. If you're used to sleeping on a pool table, you'll love it! Also, the shower head/water pressure was weak. One more thing (and this may seem petty but...) the 'GUIDE' button on the tv remote did nothing and there was no list of channels anywhere. Channel surfing 75 networks is a royal pain. The breakfast options were adequate but no waffle maker? C'mon Wyndham!!

Very limited selection for breakfast and it was warm at best. The beds and toweling were clean but the walls and curtains were another story. Tight squeeze around furniture. There are many other choices in Waterloo, we will have to try another one next time.

Very nice hotel and a decent enough breakfast. Only negative was the water pressure in our room. However we only there for a night and didn’t have a lot of time so we never bothered to enquire with the front desk about this. It could have just been our room.
