Great location by the lakefront, nice onsen, simple and affordable breakfast. We were able to rent bikes from the hotel and biked around the lake - great experience.

Great location just in front of Lake Ashi with nearby attractions within walkable distances. There’s onsen onsite with 1 small pool, and foot bath and bicycle rental outside of hotel. Friendly staff. Room is big but rather dated in room condition and facilities. Found hair in bathroom. Futon have to be self serviced.

Touring Mount Fuji

We were made welcome on our arrival. The view of Mt Fuji from our room was spectacular. The room was large with separate eating and sitting area and a small kitchen. The beds were comfy. The only down points that the shower flow was rather weak and the general hotel decor was rather tired. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and its location .

We (myself and my wife) travel with children age 11 and 13. The hotel charge us extra 9,900 yen each for each kids for one night, total 59,400yen for 3 night stay. They cannot shows us the hotel policy for this charges. We called Expedia line for help but nothing Expedia can do. Greatly disappointed. We have no choice but to pay. We now sought your help to refund this extra charges.

This was an excellent hotel with great accommodations. The only thing they need is better pillows. The breakfast is optional We we’re not interested in it. We didn’t see one single guest eating the breakfast. There are not coffee shops open before 9am or 10am within walking distance so it seems it might be the only option if you don’t have a car or don’t want to walk for too long to get to the great bakery that opens at 8am. I recommend you bring food with you. There is a microwave in the first floor and there is a refrigerator and a tea kettle in the room. We brought food with us and that was great. Also, the Onsen was fantastic. It is great to sit and relax in hot spring water after a long day. Great place to stay.

Mt Fuji visit

We came to see Mt Fuji and we did! Excellent view from our room window. Onsen was lovely too, with lots of amenities, a foot and leg massager and very clean. My only criticism is part of the hotel seemed dated and worn but is was very clean. All staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. The shuttle to the train station was a bonus
