Our villa stay was perfect. The location was wonderful, our hosts were accommodating and communicative, and the home itself was lovely and clean. We spent almost every meal we had at âhomeâ on the wide-open covered patio (lanai). Listening to the birds every morning was a highlight. The pool was right outside the door, and the short walk to the beach was divine. Itâs a five-minute walk to Poipu beach and park, where we visited (quietly and at a respectful distance) the green sea turtles and monk seals every night. HmmâŠhow many more glowing adjectives can I use to describe what a marvelous time we had? My husband and I are parents to two grown children who have significant others. All four love to run hike, swim, climb and participate in all things outdoor. This was the perfect vacation for them to be active, and for us to be active with bouts of relaxing at the beach or lounging by the pool. We grilled at home twice and also indulged in the many yummy options available at nearby restaurants and food trucks. I also recommend you research options all over the island. There are SO many things to do, see and eat. I definitely want to go back. I am writing this back home as it snows outside. Take me back to my home away from home!
