Book this Hotel!

Everything was amazing! Excellent service, the grounds are pristine and beautiful. We had a little hiccup with the shower water not getting hot but it was taking care of quite quickly. The restaurant food was great quality and delicious. Close to everything, yet like we were off the beaten path.

A great property just outside of La Fortuna. The facilities and the grounds are very well maintained. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into town or a short Uber ride.

Super duper safe! 2 security features at property. We felt safe to leave anything in our car at property, since you are behind a gate. Room was lovely, nice balcony, pool and hot tub were also lovely. A ton of plants, trees and flowers everywhere you look! We didn’t really enjoy the breakfast options, long wait times to get food, which is all made to order, so we ate out in the city while we stayed there. We would definitely book again here. We didn’t get the tour when we checked in, but it looked like there was a lot more on the property.

Wow, what an incredible experience! Our group was blown away by Casa Del Rio. There was 11 of us total (7 adults and 4 kids). We rented the family villa and another 2 bedroom. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was so great to wake up to. Our kids loved the fun waterslide and swimming in the different pools. A great way to escape and unwind. We hope to be back one day!!

This property was very close to all the restaurants and points of interest. We felt very safe as there was a guarded gate with a large security door. Our room (Machaca room) was very comfortable. I like how the AC unit is not blowing on us directly. The bathroom including shower was very large. There was a Smart TV in the room which allowed us to watch Netflix at night. The only complaints were there was no where to hang our cloths as the large closet only had shelves and there was no coffee creamer/whitener provided for the coffee in the room. However, there is complementary specialty coffee provided in the gift shop beside the reception desk (found that out on our last day). The breakfast was excellent and they even made us waffles and pancakes when we requested it. We swam in one of the pools and we were the only ones at the pool. It was very nice and secluded. I loved all the animals. We could see howler monkeys from our balcony. On the hotel site there were lots of geese and ducks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place. Location is really close to the main city center, the room are great and facilities of the hotel are also amazing. Didn’t feel too crowded either. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying there. The rooms are large, clean. There are good selections for breakfast The receptionists and all staff are friendly and courteous. The place is filled with beautiful plants. One of the rooms in our unit Tuna did not have hot water for shower. It will be nice if there are some clothes hangers in the room.

So beautiful and quiet but convenient to the city and nature expeditions. Loved it and would stay again. Staff was gracious and accommodating and the restaurant is delightful and the food 5 star. They went out of their way on each meal.

Wonderful place to stay the only thing that was unfortunate during our stay was that we didnt have access to the gym and the basketball court which was a big selling point for us when we were booking. It was all under construction and it would have been nice to know prior to arriving. Otherwise, beautiful location and very friendly staff!

We were blown away at this property! Perfection! Rooms totally updated and big! The staff amazing! Service was top notch 5 star worthy! I was an executive for a billion dollar travel conglomerate ! And this resort would have warranted a 5 star rating! Dinner and breakfast were our best meals on this trip, high five to the chef and servers!
