Welcome to The Enchanted cottage. A lovely and cozy 3 bedroom house with hot tub, perfect for a family or couple to relax in. The peaceful mountain surroundings inspired each room’s theme and the special touches create a comfortable and tranquil environment. The master bedroom and guest room each have hotel quality mattresses and bedding, smart TV’s and ceiling fans. The kids room features a woodland forest themed bunk bed, ceiling fan, video games, faux smores set, toy chest with stuffed animals and family board games to keep everyone entertained. The living space is quaint and cozy and does have air conditioning. The exterior features a side deck with a Weber grill and a seating area. Further, off the deck, you will find a firepit with seating for all those smores and star gazing with glow in dark magic. You will enjoy in the peaceful and tranquil.

Masthope is a four seasons single home private community situated in the most northern tier of the Pocono Mountains. With a full variety of amenities to enjoy such as skiing, boating and swimming at the lake and pool, horseback riding, tennis courts and a multitude of sports activities that are only enhanced by a never ending list of seasonal events, there is something to enjoy for everyone. The Enchanted Cottage is centrally situated within a 2 minute drive to the pool and ski lodge and 5 minute drive to the lake. Everything was amazing! Booking this was easy and the hosts are amazing! They helped make the check-in process easy and the house was beautiful, very cleanly and well kept!They were very, it's easy to get a hold of if we needed to reach them and responded promptly to any questions we had!We go on vacation every year, but this house in particular, had something special about it. My teenage daughter said she's gonna miss this house very much and would like to visit again sometime.The area itself is very nice. The people are friendly and so are the deer! This was a great spot to watch the deer in the mornings and evenings. The overall experience was great! Highly recommend!

Enchanting Cottage

The cottage was everything the description implied that it was… It was magical for the children and spacious, clean and relaxing for myself and my husband. We enjoyed the community very much and found the host to be extremely welcoming and friendly. There was a well stocked kitchen that we were able to prepare many meals in and enjoy either outside on the deck in the beautiful fresh mountaineer or in the stylish dining area.

Very nice getaway. I had a great time with my wife and two kids.Nice and relaxing. Very clean house. Very convenient location to all the amenities such as the community pool, beach, and convenience store. Every so often you will be greeted by local friendly deer.

Clean and fun!

We came to ski at Big Bear, but there are lots of things to do in the area—including running. The house is very clean with nice touches of home throughout. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long, cold day of skiing. This was our second time staying there and we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect summer getaway

The house was so cute and very clean. Instructions were very clear for use of the facilities available and the water park and pool were a highlight with my kids. The bear room with the bunk beds was another favorite and made us feel comfortable right away as the kids were so happy and excited about the place. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my husbands birthday! The property was so charming and exactly as pictured, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The old school games were a hit favorite of my ours. The home is located in a ski community. Everyone there was extremely courteous and helpful, and the local restaurant was delicious. Jennifer’s communication was amazing! She was always a phone call or text away for any questions or assistance we may have needed. I would highly recommend for anyone interested and would not hesitate to go stay there again!

Best Booking like This I’ve Had

I came across this property when looking for a place to stay the night while attending a religious activity during the day, about 25 min away. I stayed with my partner. It was our first trip away together. The check in was very easy. Jennifer reached out prior to our stay to make sure we knew what we needed to about the property, and to ask if we had any questions at all. She was very reachable, although we did not need anything at all after we got to the property. The kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook up a meal. The rooms were all decorated so pretty. We only used one of the bedrooms, but I can tell you the bed was super comfortable, and I consider myself a bit picky. The place was very clean. Like others have stated, there are deer everywhere. We saw hundreds I bet. The deer were the highlight of the stay for us. We also saw turkeys and chipmunks. We went on a beautiful walk and took in the natural surroundings. Explored the beach. It was so beautiful. We ate at the Summit, which was wonderful. I’m a vegetarian and I had plenty of options. My partner loved his meal. The place is very quiet. I booked this in part for the hot tub, but we never did try it out. I peeked once at it, and it was definitely clean. I admittedly tried the Pan Man game and we had a good laugh for about 30 minutes. There is a store in the neighborhood to grab a few things if needed. There are a Walmart and other stores maybe 20 or so minutes away so if you are getting in late, you might want to hit somewhere for groceries in route- just a tip. The skiing was closed when we were up, which we knew, but we got to see the place and it looked like a place we might want to try out. We hope to make it back. We really appreciated Jennifer’s attention to detail and friendliness. We would love to stay again.

The cutest place !!

We loved the house and property!! The house was so clean, the rooms were nice -especially the kids room with the bunk beds and arcade games. The owner is super nice and very helpful with any questions . The kids loved feeding the deer that come right up the house . Wildlife everywhere you drive , it was a really nice little getaway. Hot tub was a great thing to have as well. Definitely recommend this house !

A nice weekend away!

Great house! Jennifer was a wonderful host who was very responsive! A highlight for us was the deer. If you are lucky they literally come within feet of you. The hot tub outside under the sky listening to nature is also very enjoyable and relaxing. We had a great time!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed in the off season, but still greatly enjoyed our time at the property. The house is very nicely decorated, and my kids especially loved the bunk bed room and the fun outdoor space. The property owner was extremely helpful to make the whole process smooth. We would definitely stay again!

The Perfect Family Getaway!

I fell in love with this property the moment I saw the listing. Call me a pessimist but I had expected to be slightly let down when seeing the actual property because the photos were so nice. The actual property far exceeded any of my expectations! Everything is not only beautifully decorated but also extremely clean. Not a single detail was overlooked by the property owner, from the antler chandelier above the dining table to the bear paw toilet paper holder that my kids got a kick out of! The decor is tasteful and fun without being over the top or cheesy. The overall feel of the home is so inviting and cozy; my family and I were so comfortable staying here. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the spacious and well stocked kitchen, cozied up on the couch to warm up after a long day of skiing and snow tubing to watch a movie by the fireplace (even though it is a faux fireplace it gave off the perfect amount of heat without the worry of kids getting too close to a flame). The owner of the property even left us some deer food for the kids to toss onto the ground. They loved watching the deer from the huge glass sliding door in the dining room. Communication with the owner was a breeze and she was so helpful answering questions and giving suggestions on fun things to do in the area. We spent our days snow tubing and skiing at Ski-Big Bear but we will definitely be back to enjoy the summer activities! Overall this place is a 10 out of 10, highly, highly recommend!

Cozy home in the Poconos

The house is very small, and only sleeps 6 or 7 if you pull out the couch in the living room. The hot tub was a big selling point, and it was great the first night when it worked, but it stopped heating afterwards. Jennifer was super responsive, calling us right away to try and fix the hot tub even though it was Christmas, but unfortunately it could not be diagnosed over the phone so we were unable to use it afterwards. Also, be prepared to put all your garbage in the car and drive it to the dump. The best feature of the house is the kids' room, with an awesome treehouse bed and wall mounted video games. The kids loved it! Lots of games in the house as well.
