My only complaint would be the two large pot holes in the back parking lot past the lobby entrance. Other than that cute hotel, comfortable bed and pillows. Felt like a wholesome place

Cute cozy place. Great area. Stayed one night for a concert. So easy to walk there and back. The hotel is well kept, and clean being a little outdated. But worth staying.

Clean and comfortable

Large comfortable room with big bed. Our first floor room overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel with sliding doors to outside sitting area. Very clean. We used the outside pool which was a lovely temperature. Breakfast was basic but ok for us to start the day. Only downside was that our room was almost opposite the communal breakfast room which was ok on the first night as the hotel was fairly quiet and no-one used it. On the second morning we were woken up before 7am by loud voices of lots of people getting up and having breakfast early together in the communal dining room before catching their coach. They were very loud! I guess in high season this could be a problem if you are in the rooms nearby.

We had a lovely stay and the staff were incredibly nice. The Fireside Inn was clean but not updated. We love that we had a little patio that we could run out to the car if we needed something instead of having to walk back to the front desk each time. We also loved the animal towel display on our bed (so fun!) and grab-and-go options for breakfast. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved the welcoming lobby area and staff as well as being able to walk to the concert venue from where we were staying. Some updating could be made to the rooms but still very comfortable and safe area.

The location is good and that’s what you’re paying for. The room needs an update for the price that they charge. Could be a lot cleaner also. It’s very close to the concert venue and that’s the only reason to choose this property.

Not enough time to enjoy the pools

Check in at 4pm and check out at 10 am doesn’t leave much time to enjoy the facility when your seeing a nearby concert. As a person who hates spiders lots if webs everywhere. Is my only complaint. Left a good tip for the maids as they deserved so much more.

Stayed there during Laconia 2025. Got the kitchenette which allowed for heating up leftovers late at night!! Plenty of room. Staff was really nice and helpful.
