We had the room as reserved, but we found that the room was cleaned with a very strong cleanser and we had no choice but to let the front desk know. A real gentleman at the front desk, Mr. Travis, came to our room and realized our problem. The smell of the cleanser was very strong.
We asked Mr. Travis whether we could leave as is and our room charges could be refunded. He politely inquired about it and he informed us that we could choose to move to a different hotel if we wanted to and we would get a full refund. He himself called the nearby Knights Inn and had us get a room. It was such a wonderful customer service from Mr. Travis.
The room itself was set up nicely and the beds were made up well. The room was clean and had what was needed for a one night stay. The bathroom was a little dingy, and could use better floor cleaning in the corners and behind the door.
Toe nail clippers in the bathroom, towel rack had hair an was dirty, mold in the bathroom, brown stained sheets, smoke detector was disconnected, floor was extremely dirty. I could go on, but this was one of the worst places i have ever stayed at. Would recommend spending an extra $30 tp get a far better accommodation.
My family and I were traveling and booked a room at the Motel 6 in Crawfordsville, IN. We booked a deluxe room through the app.
When we arrived at the motel, we checked in and went to take the kids to the park and to eat. We returned to the motel after dinner and were preparing to rest and put the kids to sleep.
This is when we noticed that the room was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness and safety.
The bathroom was filthy and the condition of the room was in disrepair.
The shower had not been cleaned, there were stains on the walls and the ceiling had visible mold.
The titles on the baseboards were broken and some were removed.
The fire detector was unplugged and did not have a power source to alert in the event of an emergency.
The additional safety lock had been removed from the front door and only had the deadbolt.
We were disappointed with the quality of this experience and feel you should be aware since you are offering this property on your website.
