The hotel was basic as only a 2* hotel but served our purpose. In a great area close to everything. Staff were friendly We had checked out at noon and I called back about an hour later asking if they could check the room for a hoodie I thought I had left. They said they would check the room for me. I called back and they confirmed it wasn’t there. I then got a message around 5:00 pm. Saying my iPads had been left. Unfortunately I was already in Faro. It’s nice that they reached out to me just unfortunate it wasn’t noticed until later

Great location

The location of this property was smazing. Right in the heart of the old town. On a tiny little street barely wide enough for a car. There is no where to park at all. Cant even stop to drop luggage. Parking can be found, underground, not far on tge nain strip. The young man at the front desk was great. English was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were old and tight. No room for suitcases toiletries etc. Carpets old and worn. Didnt know bathroom fixtures came in that colir brown. Would recommend as long as lication is most important.

comfortable and convenient

I was here during a blackout, but the staff were very helpful in getting me to my room in the dark. The location is great: near to shops, restaurants, bars, ocean, etc., but on a nice quiet side street.

Very, very outdated. Carpets have what looks to be generations of set-in stains and dirt. Walls are SO thin - I could hear my neighbor brushing his teeth, gagging while brushing his tongue, and using the bathroom. I guess this is common. Could use some serious renovations - it doesn’t need to be fancy, but just some updates would do the place good. It’s very 80s. Otherwise, staff was friendly and the location is an easy walk in to the town.

The Hotel is a basic “no frills“ place to lay your head. It is clean but doesn’t have modern day comforts such as a refrigerator,Coffee maker or great bedding. However, you need to remember that the price and location may outweigh these wants. Staff are wonderful! Rooftop patio was closed for repairs. If that is important to you then you may want to contact the Hotel before booking.

Great service. However, room was musty & dated.

Exceptionally, Wonderful Service. However, room was dated. Musty smell in room. Bed was really uncomfortable. No cups for bathroom. No nose tissue. Air condition wasn’t working properly. I slept with window/door opened because I was concerned about carbon dioxide from air conditioner.

Loved our stay!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The room was clean. The location is perfect, right in the center of old town and close to the river. Loved our stay. The bed was very firm, could feel the ribs of the mattress. Kind of hard on the back after a long day walking.
