Unit was just as expected and perfect for our stay. Enjoyed the lanai and direct ocean view. Would definitely stay here again. There were a few things in the unit that could use an upgrade but nothing that would cause me to not stay here again. The biggest things I think of are new beach chairs to use-the ones in the unit are almost ready to give out and not be functional!

The good and the bad. The good was the view is fabulous and the manager was great. The bad is the floor of the unit was very dirty when we arrived. The manager had the maid come back and cleaned it again. The rug at the bathroom sink looked so awful my wife wouldn’t step on it. The owner needs to put some money in the unit. The furniture is worn and several pieces need to be replaced. The beach amenities should be replaced. We did get the beach chairs replaced, the seats were tearing and the frame had rusted through holes. See pictures attached. A nice place if the owner updated it.

The condo was clean and accommodating. A few suggestions though. 1. Hand bars in the shower for us seniors. The dishwasher door or oven door or both needs to shift away from each other. The dishwasher door is difficult to open to use it. Thanks for all your help Heather. Do you manage other units in the same complex? If so what are the unit numbers? We can’t see sunsets from our lanai in 108.

Definitely needs to be remodeledWe enjoyed our stay but would not choose this location or property management again It also listed the pool and BBQ. Nice, Quiet Location

We had a great stay here. We really enjoyed the local neighborhood and proximity to the beach. We also loved having meals out on the lanai. One note: there was no AC, but with fans and the ocean breeze through the open sliders it was completely fine. Communication with the host/owner was great.

Not perfect

This condo had its plusses and minuses. On the plus side, the view from the lanai was amazing. We could see Molokai, the sunset, and whales on this migration route. On the minus side was a funky stove, a terrible sleeper sofa, a tiny pool, and no beach access, though it was next to a park. Again on the plus side, our host Heather was always very responsive and helpful with various problems we had...even bought a new tv so we could watch Netflix.

Beach view

Although the beach here can be a little rough, there are plenty of calmer easier beach accesses nearby. The view was fantastic, and sitting beachside is always relaxing. The condo it older, but well maintained. Everything you need in the kitchen and kitchen plenty of local places within walking distance. Food trucks and restaurants a short drive nearby. Only suggestion I have is to inform renters that the property manager is not very helpful. You will need a smart phone to access the parking app and you can scan a QR code posted to register your car. There are carts for you to take your luggage to your room. We loved our stay, always sad to go home.

Relax on Maui!

Thank you Heather for a wonderful stay! The photos do not lie, you really are that close to the beach and can hear the ocean waves (especially great to fall asleep to at night). The lanai is just fabulous, we ate out there or just sat out there anytime we were in the condo. Towels and linens were provided, more than enough than we even needed. There's a laundry facility on the premise that came in handy. The pool and hot tub were great. The complex was quiet and everyone around was friendly, and Heather was quick to answer any questions we had. The close proximity to shops, restaurants, grocery stores was great. You can really get a sense of the community and the wonderful island of Maui even by staying close to the condo.

Good Sunsets

This condo has a nice lanai for sunsets but it needs a little TLC as the kitchen is small with only one drawer, and no cupboards for food. There was additional family staying in another larger two bedroom condo in the same building and the unit was newly upgraded, yet it cost about the same per night.

Fantastic view!

We found this to be the perfect spot to spend a few days - the view from the lanai is awesome- great whale watching. The property is conveniently located as well - great food options are just across the street. The unit is a bit dated but very clean.

Awesome place to stay in Hawaii!

We loved staying here! The views and sound of the ocean made our experience the absolute best! The kids had a great time at the pool every day. The location of Paki Maui could not be better with groceries, coffee shop, etc. right across the road. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Hawaii!

Fantastic lanai

This was perfect for what we needed. While it's small for 3, we weren't in Maui to hang out in our room. The lanai was amazing and has ruined me for future trips, because I don't want to stay anywhere I can't hear the waves at night. The view from the lanai of Molokai, the bright stars at night, and seeing whales in the channel made for an unforgettable experience. If you're sick of paying top dollar for eating out on Maui, the Okazuya deli across the street has tons of very reasonable options, as do the nearby food trucks. If we go back to Maui, we would hope to stay here again.

Stellar location and view

Great week of whale watching, swimming in the ocean, fresh papaya from the market, and lounging beside the beach. Perfect getaway. We would add that an improvement could be made with newer carpet, or replacing it with tile. Also, the bathtub is very slippery and could use a rubber mat. Other than that, our stay was wonderful

Beautiful views

We loved our stay at Paku Maui! We had beautiful views of Molokai and Lanai islands. We saw sea turtles and whales from the balcony and pretty great snorkeling right of the property. Plenty of lounge chairs on the property and the unit had all the beach accessories you need. There were plenty of fans to keep things cool and when able we opened the front door to let a cross breeze come through. The kitchen was well equipped though I would make a suggestion to add some baking pans. The only negative was the sliding bathroom door had gaps so it didn’t allow for much privacy in the bathroom. The location was perfect, close to Maui brewing company, hiking trails, shopping and food trucks. Would definitely recommend staying here!
