Everything was good. Bed was big & comfy. Room was clean. We ended up booking a second night in a different room for a reason not related to the hotel. TP was your standard, thin TP. And the shower leaked, bad. I turned on the water and while i was getting ready to get in, water was pooling outside the shower from the metal lip putside the doors. And there was a small rip in the paint above the shower head where water was dripping, so there is most likely a leak behind the wall.

My new favorite!

This is a really nice hotel. I overnight in Lake City a couple of times a year as I’m driving from Atlanta to our beach house in Vero Beach. I’ve stayed at multiple places over the years and this is by far the best I’ve stayed at. Brand new, thoughtful room layout, bar and small restaurant, within walking distance of several other restaurants, nice outdoor area and pool, nice workout room. Not too close to the highway so nice and quiet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is my new go to place while passing through.
