What a wonderful time our family had at this lovely home in Lake City! The hosts thought of everything to make our stay extra special! The whole home was immaculate and comfortable. Everything was labeled so we could quickly locate anything we needed. The kitchen was well-supplied with everything we needed for cooking. We loved all the gathering niches and had all the space we needed for visiting and for playing cards/games. The little girls liked playing in the porch area and outside on the large lawn. There were cute dishes for the kids to use and also little chairs in the porch they loved playing with. Everything was well-maintained and easy to use. We loved the gorgeous lake views and the accessibility to the lake walking paths and to the lake playground. We also were able to easily drive to the events on the Wisconsin side of the river that we had planned to attend in Maiden Rock, Pepin and Alma. This home is truly one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed at and we hope to return here again in the future!! Thank you for all you did to make our family vacation so delightful!!

Relaxing home with a beautiful view

The home was immaculate and just as described. Myself and my adult children were in Lake City attending a funeral for a family friend. The home gave us all time and space to remember a life well lived and to adsorb our loss. This is one VRBO that I look forward to retuning to in happier times. The communication with our host was so helpful I highly recommend this VRBO to all feel certain you will not be disappointed.

An amazing property with great views and walking paths along the water. Communication was great and there were no surprises. The owners definitely put a lot of effort into making this a worry free vacation- they had 6 bikes ready to ride, several areas outside to enjoy the views, several outside games for us to play and several seating areas to enjoy our family. They thought of all the details like special baskets for each person to put their toiletries in on beautifully decorated shelves outside both bathrooms and much more. Definitely would recommend!

This home was one of the nicest vacation homes I’ve rented!! The amenities were creative and top notch!! Very spacious with multiple areas to fit groups! The views and location were spectacular! Annual Golf Trip to Lake City

This house was perfect. After a long day at the course (The Jewel) is was so nice to come back and relax enjoy the views and get ready for another day of golf. It was so clean and plenty of room for 7 guys. Some of us even took the bikes for a ride into town. Thank again 5 stars.

Great Getaway Weekend

This is a beautiful home and perfect for our high school friend's getaway weekend. The location right across from the lake gave wonderful views of the lake, sunrises and the changing trees. It is on the main highway through town but inside we didn't hear that much traffic. It was an easy in and out without having to remember which streets to go down - for 66-year-olds that was nice! We loved the different sitting areas throughout the house. We decided not to try the bikes that were parked in the garage but that would have been a fun activity. The communication with the host was easy and all went smoothly with no issues arising. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lake City and surrounding area.

Dramatic Views in Lake City

This VRBO is one f the nicest VRBO places that I have ever stayed. It was so clean and they had excellent notes all over telling us how things worked and they had literature about the restaurants and activities in the area. The view was amazing. We were made to feel so welcome. We were a group of college friends who go to a different VRBO every year and we all felt the same. The location was perfect - right across from Lake Pepin and a lot of walking trails. We also were in walking distance from restaurants and downtown. I would recommend it for adults or families with children.

A beautiful home with amazing thought put into it

We have rented through VRBO quite often and this house was a wonderful option for us. The house had wonderful appointments and a big pet peave of mine was addressed admirably. I dislink not having enough hooks in the bathroom or the bedrooms to hang wet towels. This house was very well thought-out with numbered hooks and baskets for bathroom use. It was a fantastic idea. the house was surprisingly spacious and the hosts were extremely attentive. I would strongly recommend renting.

The property was great. Clean. Plenty of room and places to sleep. We enjoyed our stay and as titled the views were dramatic…esp when a major storm blew through during the day and then late at night. Awesome to watch nature’s power and fury. The only item of note that was an issue, was that the upstairs toilet was too low

Perfect get away along the Mississippi /Lake Pepin

This was a perfect property for us and our family. This trip was planned as a gift to my 80+ year old parents, especially dad, so we could go to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, 20 min down the road. Lake City is centrally located and about 20 minutes from the 2 bridges that cross the Mississippi, which made exploring surrounding areas easy. This house was exactly what we had hoped for and more. Lots of space, yet cozy as well; awesome views of Lake Pepin; charming and thoughtfully layed out; great 1sr floor bath and bedroom for my aging parents who needed a first floor room and bathroom; We were only a party of 6, 2 of which were teens who loved having their own bedrooms and privacy. However the property truly does hold 12, and is set up to hold twelve people in comfort, rather than as an afterthought. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this at the top of our list. Lots of small details included labeled light switches, for all the different light fixtures around the house, extra folding tables for outside cookouts or puzzle building (which we enjoyed on the many rainy days we had), fans in several rooms to offset occasional road noise, fully stocked kitchen and baths, high quality furnishings, and comfortable couches. So many rental homes have cheaper furniture in them, but that is not the case here. The hosts were wonderdul and always accessible via text for any questions - very helpful. I would stay here again!

Great Holiday Time

We have been gathering at thanksgiving for many years and Dramatic Views was a wonderful place to cook our complete dinner. This kitchen is very well stocked and the table was able to fit all of us and food. We also used the table for many rounds of games. Even at the end of November we enjoyed getting out and exploring the area. We have stayed there before and will consider it again.

Family Time by the Lake

A beautiful, spacious, comfortable place to stay. We spent a long weekend here with our daughters, their significant others and our young grandson. The location was perfect and the views of the lake so beautiful and relaxing.Our hosts provided everything we could possibly need both inside and out. They literally thought of everything! Lake City stay on Lake Pepin

This home was just perfect for the 7 cousins who get together annually. It was clean, spacious and so comfortable. The home was decorated in a nautical theme that was done so well! The lake view was amazing! The sunrise photo I took was just spectacular. We didn’t use the bikes but the river walk through Lake City was great. We ended our stay with a campfire. We all loved this home. We got to meet the hosts to tell them what fun we all had!! So nice!!
