Upon arriving the receptionist was courteous and was able to accommodate our request for adjoining rooms. There were a few negatives. Upon arriving our sliding door to the outside was unlocked and open 1/2 inch and our room was freezing. Washcloths aren't provided and you must bring your own. The food and service at The Waterfront was just average. We were asked to get on the waiting list while there were empty tables which were still not filled when we returned at the appointed time. This may possibly be due to shortness of staff. Families were leaving as we were coming in due to sitting 20 minutes without anyone waiting on them after being seated and on top of being the waitlist for 30 minutes. This morning the coffee shop had a line with 10 people in it. We gave up and left after the line was not moving.

I was really looking forward to my stay. As I was celebrating my birthday. Drove two hour in the snow to come to this property, which I have visited in the past. Under the impression that there would be live music or at least a DJ. Everything was cancelled, bar closed early. There was no back up plans. Ended up just staying in my hotel room, which was not how k thought the night would go. They did give me a $30 drink credit, but then when I reviewed the bill. Instead of taking $30 off, they charged me $30. So I had to stop by the desk again to get it fixed.

Everything was great, but had leftover drinks in the refrigerator which I think house keeping missed, and their showers sucked out water was cold and no pressure in the shower. I wish they have more breakfast food, coffee at the Cafe was excellent though

Stayed two nights three days. Had to go looking for washcloths even after I called front desk, no one showed up. Noisey people in room next to us all night. Called front desk and no one did anything. Avani spa was ok, got pedi and mani and had very few choices of colors, nothing dark. Did not scrub feet enough for myself or daughter. Would not go back.

All staff were great and kind to us except one. Austin at the waterfront bar. He was rude, expected us to know what we wanted to order the second we sat down. Rolled his eyes, processed to ignore us and served/check on other customers. When we asked him to break a $20 he again rolled his eyes. The bartender Thomas at the westbar was an absolute joy to see and speak too. One of our favorites to see at the end of the day. Wish the massages didn’t fill up so fast but understandable. The extra activities to do at night is awesome! Example: fire pits outside. Enjoyed the live music, karaoke, piano being played everywhere we went (beautiful). Food was amazing! Drinks were perfect! Respect to privacy was greatly appreciated. Appreciate the ability to have an escape away from children. (The adults only spa pool area). Hottub got warm enough after the jets were turned on. In the adults only spa area.
