Skyview is for people who are looking for a room to sleep in and it is great for that. I didn't need a pool, or a complementary breakfast (which just increases the hotel's expense so they raise the price so it isn't really free). They have all the other convenience of a bigger hotel. Soap and shampoo, nice clean towels. The bed was in great condition. Outside it isn't much to lookbat, but that is because they put the effort where it matters, where you sleep.

The chemical smell when I opened the door was crazy strong. Air con was running on max and after trying unsuccessfully to adjust it I unplugged it and opened the window and door to try and get the smell out. The room supplied alarm clock went off at exactly 12 AM and nearly launched me out of bed. Finally unplugged that after the snooze function woke me again ten minutes later. 😡😡😡😡 Tried contacting the onsite person to get the wifi code with no success for both days. I would absolutely never stay there again.

We love Skyview! My partner and I stay here whenever we’re in town for the Elkhorn Antique Flea Market. It’s quiet, clean, cozy AND has a touch of the vintage charm we so love. The air conditioner and other amenities work really well. The owner is incredibly hospitable. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it’s honestly a steal!

We love Skyview Inn! We stay here whenever we vend at Elkhorn. The owner, Duane, is so kind and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are clean, cozy AND affordable, with vintage charm to boot. We’ll never stay anywhere else while in town!

The property is run down. Extremely noisy as one can hear everything through the walls. Coffee pot was dirty, old, and only brewed half a cup even though I poured one full cup into it; the smell alone turned my stomach. Neighbors were drunk, loud and obnoxious. The cops sent two squad cars due to a fight. Horrible place!

Small town gem

We were very pleased with the accommodations, especially the price. Our only complaint as senior citizens was that the toilet was low and difficult for us to get up and down from.
