Amazing,Amazing,Amazing The resort , the house and the Host All 3 
 I’m sure there’s other homes to choose from there but I got lucky and picked this one .. This was my first time booking through Vrbo but it was simple.. Not 5 minutes after my booking was confirmed Francis reached out 
 And Honestly she made everything simple for me , from check in to check out 
 i saw some of the other reviews and they are right 
 You can tell the owners of this house really care about guest experience based on the level of service and communication she provides.. take my advice on this one if you have high standards and value quality, this is definitely your spot .. look at this house first . I will be checking the reviews after I leave this one to see how many people took my advice and will say the same thing I just did ..

Short get away vacation

Got in a quick vacation with the family. Had a great time at the house and using the club amenities. Kids loved to foosball, swimming pool, fire pit and pickle ball courts. Plenty of room and great location.

Fantastic House

Recently stayed for a long weekend with my family, including 4 children. We had a great vacation and the house was perfect. Lots of space to gather as a family, and also plenty of nooks for the teenagers to get some time by themselves. While it did rain one full day we had plenty of room and comfort in the house and were able to enjoy the resort amenities. Lake Lure and still not available but there is plenty to do in Rumbling Bald. Would definitely come back!

Nice getaway.

Great place for a family getaway with space to spread out, play board games, enjoy meals and relax. Plenty of outdoor deck space and a fire pit for when the weather is nice.

Hurricane Helene

The property was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. We stayed mostly on the patio and enjoyed the views during the brief breaks of rain. Hurricane Helene caused a lot of havoc including leaving us without power , cell service, or water. Our host's detailed instructions were crucial in locating the battery lanterns provided for us. We used the outdoor portable lanterns in the house as well. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy any of the amenities the house or the surrounding area offered, due to the hurricane. We had power for only a few hours after our arrival and had to leave the area prior to our original departure date due to safety. I would have enjoyed it if we were there in normal circumstances. Due to no cell service, we did our best to contact our host. Once we were out of the area, we were able to let her know what was going on. She was glad we were all okay and asked if she could help in any way. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting the area!

Family reunion

Our family reunion at Rumbling Bald Resort was action packed - and the rental home was big enough for us all. We enjoyed the deck immensely with it's view of Bald Mountain. The homeowner was very thoughtful to provide lots of information about her favorite restaurants and hikes, both inside the resort, and outside. In addition, she was happy to answer the many questions that come up regarding household supplies and she even had a high chair and pack 'n play for our 10 month old - very helpful!

Lake Lure Home

We had a great stay at the lake! The home had plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the upstairs area as well as the basement. We spent a lot of time on the deck taking in the beautiful view. We walked to the lake and pool areas several times. We can't wait to come back!

Met Our Every Need

Our group of 8 older adult friends (3 couples and 2 singles) found that Forestway was just perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare meals together and there was plenty of room around the dining table for good food and conversations. The beds and linens were lush and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good order and we all appreciated the stylish interior decorations that were just enough to make us feel at home. We were able to use the large TV in the lower level one evening to Zoom with 2 friends who could not be with us and enjoyed the sitting on the large deck during the warm afternoons. Although passes were available to use resort facilities, we enjoyed being together at the house and doing a couple excursions in the area, so never used the passes. Fran, our host, checked in with us to make sure all was good - and it was - it was a delightful time.

Great spot!

Super cute house, well decorated and stocked. Loved the Rumbling Bald resort. We played tennis, putt putt and used the driving range. House was great for multi family use. We will definitely be back once the lake is useable!

Christmas 2023

Fantastic holiday! Second time staying at this property in 2023. Family holiday with 10 people aged 17-78. Plenty of room to spread out when needed and for gathering together. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Kids and adults enjoyed pickle ball and putt putt and other amenities. Highly recommend this property. Great host! Great property! Fun location!

Wedding Weekend

We rented this house to accommodate family and friends for the weekend long event of our son’s wedding. It was perfect for entertaining (fully stocked) and close to the resort facilities. Francis was very accommodating, gave extensive property check-in info and was prompt to address any needs, I would definitely rent this home again. (FYI- we did see a black bear outside the front door !)
