The Inn is always welcoming with an easy check in , comfy room and clean showers. I particulary like coffee available in the early wee hours for us that hike at dawn and the added breakfast treats are wonderful!! Truly a special place in the heart of the High peaks !! I liked the communal tub/ shower honestly. It was adorable. And they made fresh baked cookies in the afternoon! The free breakfast is a bonus as well, not like Lake placid's hotels... I'd come here again for a nice fall mountain retreat!

This property offers tranquility at the end of a day of travel. It is welcoming and homey with patchwork quilts on the beds yet a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. There is privacy if you want it as well as a huge front porch for chatting with guests or reading. I felt like I was at my cottage not a hotel. I highly, highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.
