I booked this hotel for my honeymoon based on the amenities and photos shown in the Hotels.com listing. The listing includes images of extras such as champagne and rose petals. After booking, management informed me that these amenities are not offered at all—even for an additional fee. Two hours before check-in, I was notified that my room was unavailable due to unexpected maintenance. I was then informed that there were no rooms available at the property at all. A room at a sister property was offered but was not comparable to what I booked. The refund that I requested required emailed approval from an offsite manager and took several hours to complete. There is no onsite reception desk, which made resolution more difficult than necessary. I was told to wait outside in my car in the snow. After the refund was approved, I was asked to cancel the reservation on my end, despite the cancellation being entirely due to the hotel’s inability to honor the booking. There appears to be a disconnect between the listing details and the actual guest experience. Future guests may want to carefully review the listing photos and amenities before booking.

Check-in-and-out was super easy and my room was clean and comfortable, but I never saw a staff member. I especially liked the fireplace, cute decor, good coffee for the keurig, and nice lavender hand soap. The deck would be so nice in warmer weather!

I had a great stay at the Jeffrey Hotel! The King bedroom was beautiful and had a fireplace. Everything was very cleaned. I didnt have any issues with virtual check in and check out. Will come again.

Nicely updated room. Clean and comfortable. Online check in and a code given for the keypad. A microwave and mini frig are a nice touch. The downside was the heater was loud so I turned it off before going to sleep. Nice and responsive staff. Walkable to good restaurants (Super Taco, Toulouse) and to the beach.

The room was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. Parking is right in front which made it easy for luggage removal. I’m a cold natured person, so it was extra cold for me, but my husband was happy. We appreciated lodging style and being able to open the door and immediately see the snow.

The hotel is very cute and has a lot of potential. However, the bathroom vanity needed to be replaced, legs were held together by black tape. The fireplace never turned off or down, so we had to keep windows open all the time because it was so hot! No one is ever on site it’s an ai bot that you text with, so if you have a real issue or need towels you have to wait until someone actually arrives. I wis they would have just done all of the renovations then opened because I would’ve able to give it better reviews.
