Location is great, near the shops and restaurants and yet secluded in the woods on a larger lot. We enjoyed staying here very much . The owner is very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything about the place is great. Weâve stayed here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The location is nice and peaceful and close to everything you would need. Just a great place for a northwoods getaway!
The property was actually kinda hard to find being its tucked away in the woods. But all and all had an awesome stay, a/c worked great. Tv in the living room and dishes if you wanted to eat there. Grill was all ready to go along with a note from the owner to come by beef for grilling at their farm.
The perfect size for our whole family of all ages. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, extra blankets, cookware and very comfortable beds. This was the perfect hangout during our Brush run weekend.
The property is everything we were hoping for and more. Clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped. Completely private and surrounded by nature but close to anything we could need in town. Mitzer is a wonderful, kind and gracious host. We didnât want to leave and will definitely be back. The experience couldnât have been any better.
We were just looking for a small place to relax for the weekend and this house was perfect! My parents and other friends were staying in the area also so we really only slept there and made one breakfast, but the home had what we needed, it was quiet, the air conditioning worked (it was pretty warm that weekend) and we would definitely stay again. Check in process was easy and not a long list of items to do upon checkout. Thanks again!
We enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the location being very convenient to town, yet so quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful spot & though it might seem like a strange observation....the water is so good!...no need to bring or buy any!! ( : Bug spray was also very appreciated when we were enjoying some time at the firepit!
My husband I and our dog had a wonderful weekend. It was very clean and had everything we needed. They even thought to have coloring books, crayons, crossword puzzles and other items for crafts. It was secluded because it's tucked away (which is exactly what we wanted) but close to the town in case you need anything. We'll be back again!
We came for a sporting event in the area and wanted a nice quiet place to rest our heads. We found it! Close enough to everything you need, but tucked away that you feel like you are on your own "island." The place had plenty of space for the 2 of us (even more people would have plenty of room). We got a great recommendation for dinner for my husband's birthday. Checking in and seeing a Happy Birthday Balloon with local syrup was just the absolute added touch!!! Very sweet. We would stay again!
We stayed while in town for a fall color ride. The cabin was vey nice and worked well for our family of 4. Setting is very nice and relaxing. Will definitely plan to come again.
P
the house was in perfect location to jump on the UTV trails. it was close to town but secluded. cute house to relax or enjoy the fire outside..meet the owners and they were so nice..answered all our questions we had..

This was our second stay at this property. We love how secluded it is. Very peaceful. Very comfortable. The house offers everything you need for a stay. A big bonus for us is that the property is located down the road from a main UTV trail. Has well, Mitzer, the property owner, is very responsive with any questions.
We enjoy this property every time we stay here. We like the quiet and privacy-- and our dog especially likes the wooded land with plenty of new smells and sounds for her to explore. Great communication with the owner, and everything you need for a home away from home although we always bring lots of our own things like kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Plenty to check out in the area, including nearby lakes, the national forest, and an easy drive to the UP: to the north Lake Superior or east to Lake Michigan. We like to play at the Potawatomi Carter casino about 15 mins away. Nearby grocery store, ice cream stand, supper clubs, bars and ATV/UTV rentals. This time we also visited the Harmony Arboretum in Peshtigo (dog friendly!) and stopped at Seguin's House of Cheese for curds, which is a must! We also cruised the Nicolet-Wolf River Scenic Byway and checked out the landmarks in the area-- including The World's Largest Soup Kettle and Lumberjack Steam Train in nearby Laona, and went further down the road to Crandon, which has 2 drive-in hamburger stands. This is a great property for anything you want to do-- including a day doing nothing but vegging out in front of the TV. We'll be back!
