The short break was booked so I could spend time with my Grandchildren. The kids loved there stay and swam twice a day, the kids ate free with a paying adult which saved a lot of money. Food was great and the kids really enjoyed the amount of different choices to choose from. Staff were polite friendly and very helpful! Our domestic help made us feel very comfortable and didn’t complain when we returned to our room before she had finished her jobs ! Helped me with the A/C and the bathroom shower which was really appreciated as I didn’t know how to work them. Definitely would stay again.

Good Family Hotel

Spacious, comfy bedroom for our family of 4. We all enjoyed the swimming pool facilities, as well as the TNT football, which the staff kindly put on for me to watch Palace's famous Community Shield victory over Liverpool, while being served a number of perfectly chilled draught Stellas from the bar. The breakfast was also reasonably priced (children up to 14 eat free) and very tasty. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Breakfast was excellent. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Receptionist insisted that room not paid for even though I thought it was. I paid again but when I found my receipt for original payment was told refund wouldn’t go through for 5-7 business days. Very poor booking not marked paid initially.

Wonderful relaxing family night away

I decided to stay somewhere extra special with a pool for my girls on the way back home. We had a smooth check in then enjoyed a peaceful relaxing swim in the pool sadly the jacuzzi was broken but the pool was clean and great fun! We enjoyed a delicious dinner and my daughter enjoyed the children’s play area afterwards. The rooms were spacious and the staff quickly brought me up a travel cot without any problems. We enjoyed a comfortable sleep , a delicious breakfast and a morning swim before our journey back home to Scotland. I will definitely plan to stay here again on my next journey down south. Thank you.

Good hotel near the motorway junction

Everything in our room worked OK, but the quality level was not as I remember Holiday Inn: used to be a frequent customer before retirement. The stand-out feature for me was the excellent service we got from the hotel staff, in particular the restaurant staff. Far better than most hotels. Nice big car park.

Disappointing.

Chosen because of closeness to M6 motorway and convenience. Expensive food/drinks. Souless dining area. No lounge. Some aspects of the rooms looking tired and dated for a supposed 4 star hotel. Sadly it is not. Staff seemed disinterested in some cases and better training/knowledge/experience required. Incorrect meal time information given on front desk to several customers. For August the radiator did not need to be on full in our room. Little or no dress code. Definitely needed for some staff.

Hotel great , room excellent , staff lovely Breakfast not so good food dried up and hard and not replenished . Had to ask for bread and butter, berries for the yougurt, and eggs . Waited around for ages for this to be done . I booked thru Expedia and had to wait 45 mins at reception for the Expedia confirmation to come thru to the hotel before we could check in That needs to be speeded up in my opinion Very pleased with our room 119 slept well .
