Ok for a short stay. The rooms can be better especially the beds. They are very small. Very difficult to contact staff from room. Despite listing room service, housekeeping etc, none of the contact numbers work from in-room telephone. Front desk didn’t respond to telephone calls and every time we had to go down to get things done. Mixed experience with service. Front desk staff during check-in was friendly but didn’t experience the same with others. Good breakfast

Housekeeping needs attention.

Great location, relaxing bar, spa & restaurant, book housekeeping needs attention. The 2nd floor access was strew with empty glasses & a bottle of bleach at 5.30pm.. Shower area was grubby insidevthe tray & outside. Base of table kn the room was very dusty. The rooftop outside my window was strewn with empty bottles & cans & there was a pair of kids socks under the window. The pool changing area was so wet the floor was slippy. Jacuzzi not working either. Not really up to the standard of Holiday inn hotels and i was disappointed 😔

The leisure facilities were dated and shabby. There was an open day so it was very busy but no staff to keep on top of the cleaning of the leisure facilities. There seemed to be a party going on on one of the rooms until 2am that was extremely annoying.

Booked last minute for a quick stay. Loads of free parking spaces. Easy check in. Staff really helpful. Rooms clean and bright. We didn’t use the gym, swimming pool or restaurant so can’t comment. Bar had good selection and great staff. 5 mins in taxi to town centre. Overall a very good experience would stay again.

Good location but important to note there is no bus service past the hotel on a Sunday and last one back on other days is at 9.20pm. Taxi wasn't too expensive though Comfortable rooms and we noticed that they were replacing some beds when we were there which is a good sign.

Hotel was good but the air conditioning is non existent, it did not cool the room on a hot night despite being in full. It was blowing cold air out, just not enough to cool a hot room. Bed was also very soft.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here and we're made welcome by the staff from the minute we arrived. The friendly and helpful service in all areas from reception to the restaurant and bar was fantastic and they should all be given praise for making our stay so good. We will definitely be back. 🙂

A good stay was had by all.

We were travelling to a family wedding and stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn to make it easier to be fresh on the morning. We were made very welcome at reception and ate in the restaurant which was good. The rooms were good and clean. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Nice hotel

Rooms a little dated, bath/shower had mould buildup not the cleanest environment! Facilities were great, breakfast was great too! I would stay here again but would request a the bathrooms to be thoroughly cleaned!

The hotel is basic and there were problems with the shower hardware in our room. We waited 20 minutes for service for brunch and no one was available. We also didn’t receive a welcome letter with information about our stay. Disappointing.
