Clean & well decorated room and common areas. Helpful staff. Comfy bed. The only reason for holding back a star is the nature of the building as a typical motel where the rooms must be accessed from outdoors. Both of my stays there have been in the winter and the walk back-and-forth from the desk and the room and the breakfast weren’t great fun. Also, other guests step outside their rooms to smoke & talk and all that comes in thru the front-facing AC/heating unit. Only in all, both states were certainly a good value, and those were the only downsides.

The first room had one of the beds unmade and a used towel in the bathroom. The second room had a really noisy heater. Got it right with the 3rd room but the heater could also use updating to something quieter. Good location near shops and restaurants but pretty quiet. Breakfast and the gym were as expected and typical for this price range. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall would recommend.

The breakfast was limited and the tables aren't cleaned after a patron leaves (granted, this one was a slob). The building itself has seen better days, though some things have been updated. The TV was frustrating - you have to search for the input and it wasn't logical (HDMI has the TV channels, not "cable/antenna"), there is no channel list, there are scores of "ghost" channels (the ones that appear, but that you can't watch because you don't have the subscription) which wastes a lot of time, and then in the morning the sound didn't come on. The best thing was the staff - friendly, alert, responsive.

Staff was great. I called the day before to double ck my reservation. Explained w The even i was going to. Asked about late check ins. No issues there. Even was cut short so called about an early check in... also no issues. :) no extra pay either. They had breakfast ready and available. Rooms were nice and clean. :)
