Major fiasco during check in. Owner forgot to put my name in the system. We arrived at 3:30 pm at the lobby and was told that there was no record of any guest checking in for that day. Doesnât help if we have a Expedia confirmation number. This is the condo section of MGM and not part of the hotel. You should know you are booking directly with the owners of these condos, and if they forgot to put your names in the reservation system, there is no way you can check in. Now had the owners got back to me as soon as I contacted them, this wouldnât have to be an issue at all. I made multiple calls to Louieâs cell phoneâwent straight to voicemail. Kept sending him text messages, tried emailed Marie. No response. Dead silence. Our family, including a one year old, stuck in the highly trafficked hotel lobby hopelessly for 30 minutes, because itâs valet parking only. Given the current situation of COVID-19, this is definitely not acceptable. After getting no response at all for half an hour, I had to be resourceful and reached out to the manager in the lobby, who had to get hold of the manager of the condo section, who then reached out to Louie on a different phone number than what was provided to me. She finally got hold of him, confirmed we did have a reservation and asked him to put my name in the system. It was the most stressful 35 minutes we had to endure because of all the uncertainties and anxieties. There is no simply no way for us to resolve if the owners donât respond.
