Everthing was great except being harassed about a hotel tour constantly. I was told we could get discounts and a free cruise if we went on a tour. I agreed. I then found out that it was for a timeshare sales pitch which I wasn’t told beforehand. I was constantly getting calls to my phone while I was out trying to enjoy my 50th birthday. I kept also getting texts from the hotel about other things. I replied to the texts saying that I was out trying to enjoy my time, and to please stop calling/texting me and I didn’t want to do the tour. I think it is very poor business getting harrasing phone calls to a paying customer over and over again. I should’ve been told right from the beginning that it was for a timeshare! I would’ve never agreed to the tour! Even after texting the hotel that I was not interested, I still got charged a $40 fee! I think that is disgraceful! Everything else about the hotel was amazing. I have nothing bad to say at all about anything else! I’ve stayed at multiple Hiltons and have always had a great experience, but this whole thing with the timeshare put a bad taste in my mouth how paying customers get treated. The other couple we were with also feel the same way! I really hope the $40 gets taken off! If it doesn’t go away, I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I think Hilton should make this right.
