We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house in Boulder City with the patio overlooking Lake Mead. The neighborhood is very quiet. Houses are close together but there's a sense of privacy on the patio. The main road to Lake Mead/Hoover Dam and downtown is close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The house was comfortable with great furniture and bright lighting and very clean but could have used lamps/dimmers in the living room for soft lighting. The showers and thick, soft towels were wonderful as was the tableware, but scratched pans and cooking utensils needed replacement and plug-in air freshener was overpowering. We would have liked some niceties provided, such as suitcase racks and kleenix. We would have appreciated better screen doors in the dining room sliding doors, so we could open them for air/nature sounds without the bugs getting in. The Smart TVs and hvac worked well. Due to the high winds during our stay, we didn't use the patio or pool as intended. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was just a short walk to the local park where bighorn sheep hang out daily, and was a good home base for day trips to Vegas, Red Rock Canyon, and Valley of Fire. Great communication with the owner - liked the labeled wall switches in the house but would have loved a welcome book with detailed house instructions. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend this home in the Boulder City outskirts to all.
