We stayed over Valentine's Day weekend 2026. The positives were that the room was clean, we had a nice river view from our window, and the bed was decently comfortable. The unfortunate part of the stay was the lack of hot water when taking a shower. Other guests had the same problem so it wasn't just us. If you need a place tobstay overnight this hotel works. But i wouldn't make it an extended stay.

I booked a two day stay but only stayed one day because I didn’t have any hot water. I guess there’s some type of plumbing problem because the sink would not drain either in the bathroom.

No hot water for the 3 days. Both of the hot tubs were not working. Drain for the sink took five minutes to drain. There are a lot of choices in this town and I will not be choosing the Tropicana.

Needed help with parking car. No help. Had to park in parking garage and walk the whole length of the building. I have physical problems, walk with a cane and I am 83 years old. I checked out of the hotel on 2/12'2026.i was expecting to stay until 2/15/2026. very unhappy.

Staff was great; however TV didn’t work. At 3:30 pm Front desk said a technician would check it out. At 10pm technician still didn’t show up. I called again technician came within 15 minutes. He couldn’t fix TV. I was told hotel was full and I couldn’t change rooms, then later I was told they found a room. We moved. I went to take shower and there was no hot water. When I went to check out I was told I had to pay $31 for movie rental. I didn’t rent a movie. I think I should have been reimbursed due to the issues with my room. They said they couldn’t do anything since I booked thru a 3rd party. The hotel ended up not charging me for the movie and did waive resort fee after talking to a manager. I guess in future I will book directly with hotels.

There was not Hit Water in the morning. We were not contacted there was an issue with the water. Upon checking out, the clerk said there was a problem and it was several units that had been affected. We will try and stay there again, maybe.
