The Space:

The living areas in this single-storey property consist of a studio-style layout with king-size bed, kitchenette with combi oven/microwave, kettle and a cafetière, a dining area with seating for two guests and a sitting area with electric stove-effect fire. There is also a shower room. Outside there is a private front lawn and patio with furniture and hot tub, along with ample off-road parking. Within 4.9 miles you will find a shop and within 2.7 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Puddle Duck Shepherds Hut is a lovely escape for your next getaway in Cornwall. Note: The property is on a working farm. Note: There are steps to the exterior. One small pet welcome.



The Neighborhood:

Crackington Haven is a charming cove near Boscastle, with a mix of rockpools, a sandy beach and good surf. There are two beach shops and cafes, which are wonderful to relax in and look out over the blue seas of the bay. Walking this section of the South West Coast Path, much of it owned by the National Trust, offers dramatic views, a host of wildflowers and an undulating terrain. Just along the coast is the quaint village of Boscastle, with gift shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, making this an ever-popular visitor destination. The sandy Trebarwith Strand beach is within a short drive, as are the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath. Close at hand lies Tintagel, swathed in the legend of King Arthur, as well as several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
